Reactoonz Review - Editor’s Impressions
The Reactoonz slot takes you on an adventure into the deepest parts of space filled with jelly-like monsters. They’re pretty friendly, though, as these cute creatures create winning combinations that help you power up the energy orb.
The alien symbols are designed with cartoon-style graphics, with different personalities to make the grid sparkle. A plain, dark blue background and an electronic soundtrack accurately match a visual feast full of surprises.
When trying to fill the bars, we didn’t hit frequent wins in the base game, but they felt tantalisingly close. The Gargantoon feature took a few spins before it was activated, but the payout was decent.

Overview of Reactoonz Game
Designed by Play’n GO, Reactoonz is an alien-themed slot played on a 7x7 grid. Instead of paylines, the game uses cluster pays for five or more symbols in a pattern. Vibrant colours and electrically charged graphics create a satisfying backdrop.
The slot allows you to wager between £0.20 and £100 for each round.
In addition to the alien symbols, you’ll notice a large, three-eyed alien called Gargantoon and a Quantum Leap machine. For each winning round, energy is generated for the machine, and you’ll receive one of the five bonuses if it’s activated.
Reactoonz RTP, Payout, and Volatility
The Reactoonz RTP stands at 96.51% and the slot has high volatility. We were able to hit occasional decent wins when we tried the game.
The Reactoonz slot machine features several symbols, including four low-paying and four high-paying aliens and a vortex Wild.
The highest paying symbol is the pink alien, with up to 750x your stake; while the vortex Wild simply replaces symbols to create winning combinations.
Reactoonz Graphics and Gaming Experience
Play’n GO takes you to a parallel universe in this alien-themed slot. The graphics are designed with a cartoon style and a dark blue background that matches the symbols on the slot reels.
The fantastic visual display created by Reactoonz’s animations for wins and triggered bonuses adds to the excitement of the game. Quirky music with whizzes and clicks matches the sci-fi animations for an immersive experience.
The game is also optimised for various devices for those who play online slots on the go. The same features are available on both the mobile and desktop versions.
Reactoonz Bonus Features
The Reactoonz cascading feature is at the centre of all the action on the reels. Symbols drop into the 7x7 grid to form winning combos when five or more are connected.
Winning symbols are removed, allowing others to drop into the empty spaces. This continues until there are no more combos. Coupled with the Quantum Leap feature, the slot can create multiple wins from one spin.
Reactoonz Quantum Leap
Reactoonz gets even more interesting when you activate one of the bonus features. There are four quantum features, which can be triggered for consecutive wins in a single round. You can land multiple payouts from multiple bonuses by activating the Quantum Leap machine with five consecutive wins.
The Implosion feature transforms three to six symbols into Wilds while destroying the adjacent symbols.
The Alteration feature chooses one low-value symbol and transforms it into another symbol across the grid.
The Demotion feature removes all instances of low-paying symbols to allow a cascade for potential rewards.
Lastly, the Incision feature triggers a Wild at the centre of the screen with two intersecting diagonal lines.
You can double your winnings with the Giantoonz feature. When four matching symbols appear in a square, it will form a Giantoonz, which adds a 2x multiplier to any win it’s part of.
The Fluctuation feature marks one random low-paying symbol, and if it’s part of a win, it leaves two Wilds on the grid.
You can see all these features in action by trying the Reactoonz slot demo.

Summary of Reactoonz - Gargantuan Excitement Awaits
We like the alien theme that’s cute rather than scary. The fast-paced gameplay and high volatility offer rarer but larger payouts.
We really like how the Quantum Leap features can be triggered repeatedly. However, all your progress can vanish in a heartbeat once you reach the third or fourth bar.

When Energoonz was first released some time ago, I gave it many plays, and actually enjoyed playing the game quite a lot, although I could hardly make a win from the game. Maybe I did make one lousy withdrawable win from Energoonz, but that was about it! Now, with this sequel Reactoonz, the game play and the play screen has been changed into something that I don't like at all - with 7 reels and 7 rows, and with blardy small tiny symbols, all cluttered up into a small play area! Sheesh!
I know that there are lots of players who love this kind of grid games, but I'm never one of them. Not Gemix, not Cloud Quest, not Viking Runecraft could changed my mind. Only Moon Princess was quite acceptable to me, but nothing more than that. Reactoonz is probably the worst of the lot!
That statement isn't based on just a few tries on the game - I gave it many plays, on and off, yet all of them ended up rather disastrously! The winning values of all the symbols are as low as they can be, although at first glance, looking at that Pink Toonz, the highest paying symbol, shows a nice 750x total bet win, but only for getting 15 or more of them all at the same time! Try getting just 5 of them, for a start, and you would see how 'impossible' it would be to get 15 or more! Compared to a standard paytable, 5 Pink Toonz would pay only 1x the total bet amount...so much for a good win from it, hah?!
Yeah, there are several features available in the game, these being Implosion, Demolition, Incision and Alteration, but none of these features turned out to be as good as the features in Moon Princess, for example. At best, each feature may produce a few lousy small wins, but most times, it may end up with just one miniature win, or nothing at all! Ridiculous! 4 of the same symbols in a square formation would turn that symbol into a 2x2 monster symbol, but again, don't expect any good wins from them! The reasonably good wins can only come from that final Gargantoon 3x3 monster symbol when you get to the final 5th feature in the Meter, but that is no easy feat to achieve at all! I only managed to get there once, and that gave my best win on Reactoonz so far, for a 77x total bet win, nothing more!
Lets put it this way - there is nothing that I like about this Reactoonz game! I don't like the 7x7 grid, I don't like the tiny symbols, I don't like the 4 features, I don't like the lousy payouts, and I simply don't like playing the game either! Yep...one more new participant for my deep freezer Winter Olympics! Hehehe.
