Pyramid Coins Review—Editor’s Impressions
Compact reels, Hold and Win mechanics, and an ancient Egyptian theme combine in the Pyramid Coins slot machine. It’s a simple setup that swaps typical Egyptian symbols for standard Coins, while adding jackpots and two bonus features to the mix. Discover more in our Pyramid Coins slot review.
Pyramid Coins Slot Overview
Developed by Onlyplay, Pyramid Coins features a 3x3 grid with nine symbol spaces. These can reveal either a Coin symbol, including Jackpot Coins (Mini, Minor, and Major) and Regular Coins, which display a monetary value, or a blank space. Special Coin symbols also appear during the main feature.
Pyramid Coins RTP, Payout, and Volatility
The Pyramid Coins RTP sits at 96.4%, which is above average for online video slots.
The 3x3 grid doesn’t use traditional slot paylines or symbols and simply builds up to the bonus features, but with medium volatility, you can expect fairly frequent triggers.
The biggest single symbol win comes from the Grand Jackpot and awards 500x, but the game’s maximum payout is capped at 2,944x.
Pyramid Coins Mobile
We tried the slot demo of Pyramid Coins on mobile and had exactly the same experience as on desktop. It’s a compact grid with a simple layout, so nothing needs to change, and it still works as slickly as it should, and that’s true for both iOS and Android devices.
Pyramid Coins Graphics and Gaming Experience
Pyramid Coins keeps things simple, with an atmospheric soundtrack, classic slot sound effects, and a fiery red backdrop. Visually speaking, the only thing that connects this slot to the ancient Egyptian theme is the pyramid. It doesn’t go overboard, so if you’ve had your fill of Egyptian-themed online slots, it’s still worth giving this one a spin.
Pyramid Coins Bonus Features
You won’t find any Wilds or a Pyramid Coins Free Spins round here. It does have a couple of bonus features, though. You unlock the Standard Bonus Game by filling the centre reel with any three symbols, while the Ultra Bonus triggers when you fill the pyramid with Coin symbols.
There’s also a Collect Coin that grabs all of the values from the Regular Coin symbols, as well as Sticky Coins that remain on the reels.
Pyramid Coins Free Spins Feature
The Standard Bonus game awards three respins, and in classic Hold and Win style, the counter resets with each new symbol. The lowest three jackpots can appear during these respins, and the goal is to fill as many spaces as you can. If you fill them all, you’ll trigger the Grand Jackpot for a 500x payout.
Mystery Symbols transform into other Coins; Mystery Jackpots award either the Mini, Minor, or Major Jackpot, and multipliers are also available.
The Ultra Bonus works in a similar way, but with more multipliers.
The medium volatility means the standard Bonus Game may appear more often than you expect. We triggered it on our very first spin. Sure, it was just the Pyramid Coins slot demo and we won a modest 8x, but it was a welcome surprise, and one that doesn’t happen very often in our slot reviews. It took another 38 spins before we got a second trigger, and this time it was the Ultra Bonus for a 52x return.

Pyramid Coins Slot Summary
Pyramid Coins uses a beloved theme but doesn’t overdo it. It’s a simply structured slot machine that hides some incredibly enjoyable mechanics, including two Hold and Win mechanics, multipliers, and four fixed jackpots. A Free Spins feature and some Wilds wouldn’t go amiss, but the developer has crammed a lot of action into this compact grid.
Try the Pyramid Coins free play version to get a feel for the medium volatility and take a shot at unlocking those bonus features.
Pyramid coins is a 3x3 reel game by the provider Onlyplay and depending on the casino you are playing at you may play this game starting from a minimum bet of 10 cents or 50 cents. The game has only one active payline which is the middle row called line one. The main purpose of the game is to fill the middle row and you will trigger the bonus feature. While playing the base game you land some coins with red center and these will have coin values from 5x to 9x will stay sticky and enter the bonus round with you. While playing the base game every time you land two or less symbols these will get collected in a pyramid right above the grid. ON any random spin you may trigger the feature and this is called the ultra-bonus feature where you will begin your game with multipliers on random cells. The normal bonus will see with coins ranging from 1x to 4x and chance to land jackpot values of 10x, 20x and 50x. There is also a sandstorm symbol which when lands will collect all visible coins apart from the jackpot values. Mystery and mystery jackpot can also trigger in the bonus and you will get a chance to trigger sandstorm, coin or one of the jackpot coins in the former where as mini, minor and major jackpot coins in the latter. In the bonus round you will get 3 re-spins and your job is to land at least one coin or the bonus ends. You can also trigger the feature of Egypt magic where random cells will be awarded with multipliers on any random spin during the bonus. Filling the whole grid will win you a jackpot prize of 500x. You can buy the normal bonus by paying the price of 30x your bet and the ultra bonus which gives you multipliers can be bought by paying the price of 75x your bet.
I like this game as it has a random feature with multipliers and this bonus lands regularly. The bonus game usually lands in under 50 spins and average payout for the normal bonus is 20 to 30x whereas the ultra bonus pays from 50x to 75x.
It’s a simple game with simple features so there is nothing to dislike but I would suggest the provider to make the coin a bit higher. Not just the normal coins but also jackpot.
