Planet Fortune is a video slot powered by Play’n GO software with 40 pay-lines and 3 reels. This slot is a fusion of sci-fi and retro. You will get to go to outer space and you will feel as if you are in the Mars Attacks movie especially when you here the background music. Amazing design and interesting features surely deserve to give this slot a spin. You can do it here for fun or visit Play’n GO Casinos to play for real.

Before you go and explore the frontiers of this space, you are advised to adjust your bets. By clicking on numbers on the "Quick Betting Panel" you can set your bets which range from 0.05 to 100. "Spin" button is used to set the reels in motion, and "Auto Play" option will turn the reels automatically without interruption for a chosen number of times.

Robots are the Wild symbols and they can act as substitution for all symbols in the game. Wilds can form wining combos on its own, or when they substitute in a win.

If you land 3 or more Wilds, you will trigger the Robot Revolution which will award you with 10 spins. During the feature, all Wild symbols, including those that triggered the feature, will become Sticky Wilds. Sticky Wilds will remain as such for the duration of the spins, however, they will move one reel to the left with each following spin. When they reach the end, the symbol will fall off the reels.

Character and Item symbols are placed in stacks of 2, 3 or 4 on each reel. When the Magnetic Mayhem feature gets triggered, which happens randomly, two or three adjacent reel can stick together on any spin displaying only 2x2 or 3x3 mega symbols.

Oh my, for a very long time I couldn't understand why people liked Planet Fortune slot as it usually was absolutely horrible to me, whenever I'd give it the time of the day. However, after Slotsfighter tournament, where Planet Fortune was one of the games we played, it did show me that it has potential and afterwards I've spent quite some sessions with it.

So technically it's a 5 reel slot with 20 paylines and the design is inspired by this sophisticated 'Another world' or 'Another Planet' or at least that's the first thing that comes to mind when I look at it. Being a massive fan of Twin Spin slot, I guess I thought that I'd find the base game feature- the expanding wheels more appealing that I actually do. So the way it works is simple- at any spin on base game, the reels may 'twinnify' and become one of the symbols. The downside of this feature, similarly as it is with Twin Spin, is that for the most part the feature covers reels that don't help to make a winning combination. From this feature on base game I haven't had any wins higher than roughly 30x my bet.

But then there's the free spins bonus round! I like the fact that Planet Fortune doesn't require the scatter symbols to be placed on any specific reels, as long as you get 3 or more golden robots, you get 10 free spins. However, my favorite part is that the scatters that trigger the bonus, stay on the screen as the free spins start and become moving wilds. And that happens with every new scatter symbol that comes up. Only due to this feature I have managed to score a couple of 100x bet winnings. Sometimes it could take ages to get the free spins bonus and the game can be quite cruel- even the screenshot I added shows that it nearly emptied my balance before giving 150x bet win.

Overall I do like this game, when it's in a good mood I believe it can be a good game for wagering. Visually it's also pleasing and I do think there's some decent winning potential. On the other hand, I have to say that it's really hard to get any high winnings on base game only and the twinning reel feature rarely pays more than 20x bet.

40 lines has the first impression of many options for using the symbol function that is here. On the other hand, if you play this game, most of them are greedy and not as described in the options. For example, games where there are only 9 lines from this creator, are more payout and more efficient. The motif is excellent, and of course, if the slice falls on your computer, so the symbols of the robot in the big game will bring a lot of money. However, I repeat that the efficiency between the deposit, the time and the win is low. Have fun and good luck.

I played "Planet Fortune" quite a lot, when this Play 'n GO slot was released. While I still like the theme and some of the in-game features, I've also come to realize the built-in problems and limitations of this futuristic slot.

For instance, in comparison to other contemporary Play 'n GO's like "Book of Dead" and "Gold King", which still are among my go-to slots, "Planet Fortune" is just to (handi)capped by the fact that you can't retrigger the otherwise excellent "Robot Revolution" free spins. You've got 10 - that's it. And granted, these walking wild free spins are indeed great, when you have an army of the robotic wild/scatter symbols marching across the screen.

The other main problem with "Planet Fortune" is the above mentioned fact: Scatters and wilds are combined in one symbol. This means, you won't see a lot of wilds turning up to connect lines in the base game (the slot has a 4x5/40 payline layout), because more than two wilds at a time would force the game to grant you those valuable free spins, see?

So "Planet Fortune" will be doing the much hated "scatter dive on 5th reel" a lot. And I mean A LOT. Needless to say how tilting this can be, especially as it just feels soooooo contrived. I have the same feeling about the colossal symbol feature in the base game, coined "Magnetic Mayhem". It just has immense trouble hitting something worthwhile, usually you get 10's or Jacks, that pay really bad, even for 5 of a kind.

And speaking of the pays, these are generally on the low side. Best symbol is the wild/scatter (the robot), that pays 62,5x for a full line. And as mentioned these wild lines are in reality only achievable during the free spins.

Bottonline, Play 'n GO have a lot of other slots, that have much more potential than "Planet Fortune".

Scatters and wilds are combined in one symbol = not many wilds around in the base game. And of course the infamous "Play 'n GO-scatter dive" on 5th reel, that I just hate so much.
