Pixies of the Forest Slot

I've never played this Pixies of the Forest game before, but I've heard and read from players that it was a pretty good game to play and win from, a game similar to Gonzo's Quest, in the sense that you need 3 Scatter or Bonus symbols to activate the Free Spins game, and plays with 'Rolling Reels' or 'Avalanche' feature. Well, Gonzo's Quest was, and still is, one of my favourite games, so one fine day, I finally decided to try out Pixies of the Forest. That was somewhere last year, and since then, I've only played the a few times more.

The Wild symbol appears only on reels 2, 3 and 4, it doesn't pay anything for itself, it doesn't double any wins with it, it doesn't become stacked or expanded, and only substitutes for other symbols except the Bonus symbols. During the free spins, the Wild symbol can appear on reels 1, 2, 3 and 4. Gees! What a dumb Wild symbol this is! There aren't any Scatter symbols in the game, only the Bonus symbols, appearing only on reels 2, 3 and 4. This is yet another dumb symbol in the game. Getting all 3 of these symbols on any active payline doesn't pay anything, but triggers the Free Spins game. Pick 1 of the symbols to reveal the number of free spins and its multiplier. More free spins cannot be retriggered. Sheesh! As for the other symbols in the game, the logo 'Pixies of the Forest' pays 2000x, the Purple Fairy pays 1000x, the Brown Fairy pays 400x, the Yellow fairy pays 150x, and the rest pay 40x to 25x, all perline bet for 5 of each kind. The paytable? A very low one indeed! The only consolation is that the game plays with 99 paylines for a minimum bet of $0.33 per spin, but to me, that won't help much in creating good nice big wins.

I hate that there wasn't any 'Autoplay' feature in the game, and that the overall speed of the game play was very slow indeed, as compared to other games. Clicking on the 'skip' button didn't get any immediate response, so I had to wait until the winning display is finished. What a lot of time wasting it was! It only made me more infuriated!

My previous plays on this game did not produced any win either. They were all disappointing. In my most recent play, I had to wait a long time to get that first Free Spins game. I picked 1 of the Bonus symbols and got only 7 free spins with a 1x multiplier! What the argh! It finally paid a blardy low 9x my total bet, after eating about half of my credits just to get that first Free Spins game! Worse still, no more Free Spins game came after that, all the way down to zero balance. This was the worse result I have ever gotten from this Pixies game, and it would probably be my last too.

Pixies of the Forest is my kind of video slot game because it involves magic and some good wins. I have played this game on couple of occasions and I had some pretty decent wins from it. The last time I played the game I believe my session was one of the best so far. Thanks to the tumbling reels I got 5 or 6 five of a kind wins in a row, and then in the next spin I managed to activate the free spins and I won 97 euros. So I have started with a 20 and in literally 3 spins I had almost 150 euros. I really loved the graphics and the serene sound effects in the Pixies of the Forest video slot game.

Pixies of the Forest is a 5 reels and 99 pay lines video slot game. Besides the tumbling reels this game is powered with the free spins feature too. Sometimes it is more difficult to activate the free spins because the bonus symbols need to be on an active pay line, and then you have to choose one symbol to reveal the number of free spins you get. For some reason I was lucky and I was always choosing the highest number of free spins which is 11. This feature is powered with an extra wild which is added only on the first reel. This wild during the base game can be seen only on the second, third and fifth reel.

I believe that the tumbling reels are really rewarding especially during the free spins. I think that this is a very charming video slot game that is worth trying. I would highly recommend this game to anyone. The wins during the base game can be really huge. I also found that the feature is easily activated so a couple of free spins are always welcome.

Pixies of the Forest it is slot game made by IGT. I like this game, it looks good, have good potential I think, but all time I played it I just lost money, and eventually I just stop to enter it. I do not like games where I am just losing money.

Game looks awesome; I really enjoy design, sounds and how everything is made. Symbols are very beauty, and specially pixies symbols.

I do like gameplay in this slot game. There is used avalanche system like at gonzo quest, this means that winning symbols disappear and on its place come other symbols giving a chance to have another win. Also there are many lines, and 99 lines with such system are just awesome. Unfortunately most payouts are not very big, but best symbols paying good.

Freespins feature is good and interesting, because there is extra wilds during freespins added on reels, and also wild on reel 1, but it seems super hard to trigger freespins. You need 3 scatters on first 3 reels on payline. Then you just click on scatter and see number of freespins. I had freespins feature only once, and I picked 10 freespins.

I do not have wins over 100 bets, even wins over 50 bets. But i had many moderate wins. But still i am just losing money each time i played this game. This is because it is very hard to get freespins, I had 3 scatters dozens of times, but each time they just were not on payline. You usually get many wins, almost each two spins but payouts are usually not big. Also it is not very nice when you have many wins, but actual win is not very big. And yeah, this crazy scatters, which finally land 3 of them, but not on payline and there is no feature.

I rate this game with 8 stars.

Payouts could be good, but most I got was low paying symbols. All the time.

Impossible hard to get freespins feature.

What can be said about this game? I think if you are judging it from visual point of view then it is awesome. If you are judging it from gaming point of view then it is a complete opposite. This game truly has great graphics and the pixies are absolutely gorgeous. They have the power to mesmerize and hypnotize players into playing it, and it is very difficult to stop. Most of the spins are winning spins and pixies cover the reels. With decent pays they really offer a player a chance to make money. The rolling feature also gives you a chance to win many times on a single spin or even get the feature.

Now that is where it all goes wrong, the goal is to get three bonus symbols on a winning line from left to right. I must have got them 50 times on the first three lines but they were never on a pay line. It is the worst feeling when that happens to you and i had to feel it over 50 times. With 99 lines it is really shocking not to get them and makes me wonder if the game does that on purpose. It lets you get small wins in a normal mode but makes it super difficult to get the feature.

Every time I play this game I start of making money and before I know it I'm out of cash. It could keep me on the same balance for ages and then all of a sudden kill me. I must have spent over €100 on this game and only managed to get the feature once. When I finally got the feature I had to pick one of the bonus symbols to reveal amount of free spins. After the free spins I walked away with €25.

I like the graphics but don't like the game play and the feature is very hard o get. Hence I am going to rate it as 5 out of 10.

I wonder who would refuse to play a slot that has only beautiful girls especially when they are elf creatures - pixies from the forest! This slot is superb with its theme. I played here and only for the sheer pleasure of playing. The joy was as great as many pixies were on the screen. No joke, this slot is addictive.Although if it was to play for real money I could not even had a spin here. The minimum total bet value is 33 coins (it is true, this bet is for 99 lines) but I suspect that the value of a coin is 1 Euro here! It would be very nice if I am wrong and I will be able to play for real money.

And that is because like the fairy graphics look, the total earnings are also charming here. Playing as I said with total minimum bet of 33 coins about every 2 or 3 spins is given a win between 50 and 200 coins. Which is pretty big. And once every 10-15 spins you will have a really big win over 300-500 coins. To get back to the slot appearance, the symbols are in the form of girls (pixies) and of several stylized card figures that fall from above. On a winning combination symbols disappear and are replaced by others also droping from above. At least me, I have not found a paytable or something alike to describe the rules of the game, but from the observations thefeatures are the „Wild“ symbols (who appear very often and are especially beneficial) , and „Bonus“ symbols (which from 3 above trigger the Free Spins). The number of „Free Spins“ is selected by choosing one of the 3 bonus symbols on the screen by the player . During „Free spins“ I won here usually some good few hundred coins that have raised every time the total balance over the starting amount. There is still a symbol called „Pixies of the Forest“ which I guess is the scatter for this slot but I have not had more than one on the screen at the same time and so I did not get any payout.

As I said the slot has 99 paylines because almost all combinations of symbols on adjacent lines pay, but if my hunch is confirmed (that is, if 1 coin = 1 Euro ) only a gambling „whale“ can afford to play here for real, although very large wins are indeed offered.
