Pirates Plenty Megaways is a slot from Red Tiger that was released earlier this year. I remember there was a lot of hype around this game release, and I believe it's because it is a part of Red Tigers' Pirates Plenty series- but this time with the megaways mechanic, which is still very popular trend for slots. I personally don't really care too much about the Pirates Plenty slots- some of them are good, some not so much, but I was curious to see what kind of features this slot has. And truth be told, after a few sessions with this game, I've become a fan.

When it comes to the base game, there's a couple of things to look forward to. First of all, in the base game, you can get a monkey wild symbol which will remove all lower paying symbols and leave only premiums on the screen- because of this feature I've had several wins over 100x bet, which can really help to keep a steady balance. Secondly, you'll be looking to collect map symbols as quickly as possible. One reason for that is the fact that they can often block winning combinations. But more importantly, once you collect them all, you activate the Anne wild - and then you can get wilds with even 8x multipliers. It can take a while to do that, also if you play this game at different casinos, you need to unlock it again, which is why I only play this slot at one casino where I've completed the map. But you also get more ways to win, so again, it's definitely exciting and in my opinion, makes this game stand out.
