While Paco and the Popping Peppers has stellar animations and a fun premise, the real treasure in this game comes from its bonus features. The game features a special Pop Feature. Get any winning combination to have the symbols explode and have new ones fill their place. After each consecutive pop, the multiplier for wins will increase. It's pretty incredible that every spin can trigger a fantastic feature. In addition, if you get 3 or more scattered hut symbols, you get to play a relaxing game of Higher or Lower. Try to guess correctly and win instant cash prizes in this card-based mini-game. Good luck; hopefully these peppers won't bite too hard!

Paco And The Popping Peppers is an old game from BetSoft, not a popular game by any chance, the reasons why you’d know soon enough. Playing with 30 paylines and with a starting bet of 0.30 per spin, this is certainly not a good combination, as you could be playing some other games that has 243 ways to win instead, and with much better winning potentials too!
Let’s start off with the Wild symbol – getting 5 of which would pay a very low win of only 16.6x the total bet. I wouldn’t be that surprised if this is a new game, but coming from a game that’s so many years old by now, that kind of win back then would be considered as rubbishly low! As for the top paying regular symbol, it pays only 6x, whilst all the other symbols are even lower. On top of that, the Hut Bonus symbols don’t even pay anything as well!
Next, getting 3 of that non-paying Hut symbols would award a Bonus Round game. I was expecting a good and interesting kind of Bonus game, but what is offered instead is a simple ‘High or Low’ picking game, the kind that I have never really liked or appreciated. Don’t ask me why, but I always tend to end my pickings very quickly indeed, where in this case, the picking would end after 3 strikes, or wrong picks. I played 5 Bonus games in my last play session, and guess what it paid me? 1x, 1x, 2x, 2x and 4x wins, in that order – totally rubbish payouts!
My favourite has always been the free spins feature, but unfortunately, Paco doesn’t give a hoot about any free spins – there simply aren’t any! This game expects players to enjoy either that Bonus game, or the exploding winning symbols with increasing multipliers. Okay, this bit I do like, whereby the winning symbols would explode, new symbols would drop down, and the multiplier would increase with each consecutive cascade, up to a maximum of 10x. No further win and the multiplier resets back to 1x. Well, that’s the one and only thing that I do like in this game.
In all honesty, I disliked playing this Paco And The Popping Peppers game since it first came out many years ago, and my recent play on it left me with an even worse impression! I wonder if anyone out there even liked this game, but for me, it is probably one of the worse game to play nowadays!
