The game employs a futuristic Wild West theme with a kind of punk twist and bonus features to boost your chances of matching winning symbols. Keep reading this Money Train 2 slot review to find out more about this game.
While trying the base game, we triggered a few wins, which occurred less frequently, but the payouts were larger. The Money Cart Bonus feature was also exciting, with gang members delivering special extras.
Overview of Money Train 2 Game
Developed by Relax Gaming, the Money Train 2 game comes with five reels, four rows, and 40 paylines. Its design blends the Wild West and punk theme for a futuristic gaming experience. Winning combinations are created by matching three, four, or five symbols starting from reel one.
Lower-paying symbols include styled diamonds, hearts, clubs, and spades. High-paying symbols are represented by a female player, the tough guy collector, the green-backed sniper, and the Necromancer. The exhaust pipe-capped skull is the Wild and can substitute for all other symbols to help create a winning combination.
Money Train 2 RTP, Payout and Volatility
The Money Train 2 RTP stands at 96.4%, which is slightly above the industry average. It is a high volatility slot, so wins are not very frequent but are significant.
The Necromancer is the highest-paying symbol and will reward up to 20x your initial stake. However, the highest possible payout from a single spin is a massive 50,000x the stake. The game also has one of the widest bet ranges we’ve seen from £0.10 to £1,000 per spin.
Money Train 2 Graphics and Gaming Experience
Mixing up the Wild West visuals with a punk feel, the design of the Money Train 2 slot is incredible. When you launch the game, a train with a playing grid appears on the screen. The background animation features an abandoned windmill spinning. The sunset animation illuminating the grid with dusty air creates a beautiful yet sinister vibe.
A stirring soundtrack backs the imagery, which accurately matches the storyline. You can start by playing the demo version to get the game's feel before playing the Money Train 2 real money slots.
Money Train 2 Bonus Features
Available bonus features on the Money Train 2 slot are unique and pack a punch when it comes to payouts.
The Respin feature is triggered when you land two BONUS symbols anywhere on the slot reels. Both symbols show multipliers, which are added together. Respins continue until a winning combination is created.
With each losing spin, the multiplier increases by 1x, and the payout is calculated according to the number of accumulated multipliers.
Money Cart Bonus Feature
When three or more BONUS symbols land, it triggers the Money Cart Bonus feature. When active, night falls with a new grid that can only land multipliers and special symbols. The bonus round starts with three spins, and the BONUS symbols stay locked while adding the win multiplier to the stake. With each successful round, the spins are reset to three, and the values are added to the multiplier. This round ends when there are no more bonus symbols.
In the bonus round, there are no lower-paying symbols. There are only the higher paying ones, as well as the BONUS, Golden BONUS, Reset Plus, Persistent Sniper, Persistent Player, and Persistent Collector, all giving a different multiplier.

Due to my dislike of Relax Gaming games, I actually did not even try out the first and original Money Train game. Much later on, I tried it in fun mode, quite liking it for a change, so one day, I finally decided to play Money Train 2 with real money. I wanted to see and experience how its sequel would play and play.
Generally speaking, I like the minimum starting bet of just 0.10 per spin for a 40 paylines game, the 5 reels and 4 rows being acceptable to me too, and I also like that there’s a free spins feature game to be won. Getting 3 Bonus symbols would trigger the free spins, or more specifically, 3 Respins, and each new appearing Multiplier or Special symbol would reset the counter back to 3. Sometimes new symbols could drop in several times in a spin, to extend the feature game longer, but sometimes they just don’t, ending the game quite abruptly, and giving low measly wins with it too.
The best part in this game, the part that I like the most, is the availability of several Special symbols, each awarding its own reward. There’s the Payer, Collector, Collector-Payer, Sniper, Necromancer, Persistent, and lastly, a Reset Plus symbol, giving the possibility of creating huge wins up to 50,000x the bet. That’s a huge amount by any standard, so yes, it’s a very high volatility game indeed.
Getting 3 Bonus symbols can take more than 500 spins usually, but each time 2 Bonus symbols appear on the reels, a Respin is awarded. The 2 Bonus symbols then turn into random multipliers for the Respin, giving quite decent payouts at times. Nothing big though. You’d need the Free Respins feature game to get those.
I enjoyed playing Money Train 2, despite the difficulty in getting a Bonus game in the base game, thereby requiring Bonus Buys instead to get them, as often as you like, or as many times as you can afford. Nope, I certainly can’t afford them with my small budget, so I always have to make do with the base game.
