Visually, Kingmaker looks rather good, with a medieval castle in the backdrop. Symbols include A, K, Q, J, 10 and 9 playing cards as well as 4 different coloured gemstones. The gems each have an emblem on them. Green gemstone has a snake, blue a dragon, red minotaur and purple dragons. Purple is the highest rewarding symbol and 5 of kind will give you x15 your total stake.
The slot comes with a Gems Multiplier feature. Each gem multiplier begins at 1x and increases with each 5 of a kind wins for that specific Gem. If you were to form a 5 of a kind wins with the purple gem, the multiplier would increase by 1 to 2x and the sequence follows. You can see what the gem multipliers values are to the left of the reel set. There’s also a standard wild which replaces all symbols and it appears on reels 2, 3, 4 and 5. During base game the gem multiplier applies if you get a 5 of kind win with the specific color gem.
The crown is the scatter symbol and pays in any position. Landing 3, 4 or 5 of them will give you 4, 20 or 250 times your stake as well as triggering the free spins feature with 7, 12 or 20 free spins respectively.
Before the free spins start, the gem multipliers are all added together, and you awarded that multiplier during free spins. Each 5 of kind gem win will increase the multipliers as well and landing 3 or more crown symbols will win free spins.
I do not like this slot and left a bad taste in my mouth after the poor pay outs. I have even seen people who start with x40 – 50x multiplier who struggles to get x500 win. I would take my chances on another slot rather.
