Outlaw is one of the latest games I explored. It's one of the newest games from Big Time Gaming game provider and I was quite curious to try it out. And there were a few reasons for that. First of all, I quite like Big Time Gaming games- not all of them are for my taste but in general I feel like their games stand out a bit more from the crowd and they usually offer some unique features. Secondly, I had seen a teaser of this slot and the features seemed quite exciting. So when I came across this game in one of my recent sessions, I decided to give it a go.

One of the reasons why I was so curious to try this game was due to the fact that it has a mixture of features- if you combine Danger High Voltage, Wild Flower and Lil Devil altogether, it gives you the Outlaw slot. The game itself has a gunmen, wild west theme and the design is really beautiful.

In terms of game features, the game offers a quite simple base game. There are 6 reels and the game has a megaways mechanic, but in this case the winning symbols don't cascade as it often goes with megaways slots. In the base game you can also get full reel wilds for potential big wins. However, I have played the base game a bit and only once had a win over 50x from a winning combination with wild symbols.

Having said that, the star of the show or the main feature to look forward to is the free spins bonus round. And this bonus round is quite exciting. You can trigger it by getting 3 regular scatters, or 3 scatters where one of them is enhanced scatter for the enhanced feature- very similar to the Wild Flower slot. Also, you can buy the free spins for 70x your bet or buy the enhanced feature for 300x your bet. There are then 2 features to choose from- sticky wild free spins or wild reel free spins. In Danger High Voltage I would always go with wild reel free spins. In this game, this feature gives you 8 free spins and there's a wild reel ladder that grows in multiplier- in the enhanced feature it can go up to 777x. Having said that, I've had this feature in Outlaw a few times and not once got a win above 100x bet. Most of the time it would end up in a non winning spin or on a small 3oak win.

The other feature, my favorite, is the sticky wild free spins. The feature is very volatile as you get 7 free spins and you get 2 symbols that will become sticky wilds when landing on the middle reels. I've had this feature several times, once even managed to cover the entire reel in wilds and got extra spins for it. The goal is to cover all reels in wilds for extra spins and for the real big win potential. But even with my best feature, where I had wilds on each reel, including one full reel wild, my best win was below 400x bet.

Overall I love the concept of the game, the design is beautiful and the features have great winning potential. I also think that it's nice to have the bonus buy option for the enhanced feature at a reasonable cost- yes, 300x bet isn't a small price, but getting the feature organically might end up costing you more. I would recommend trying this game if you like Big Time Gaming slots.
