I recently chose to try it, to see if March had something pleasant in store for me. In the end, only small rewards from the Leprechaun. Hm, this March seems more difficult than last year, maybe Saint Pa trick, will help next year. Hehe! However, my session was generally enjoyable and of course I will go back to the Leprechaun's wooden home, to try it again.

This game by Red Tiger Gaming doesn’t even look impressive to play in the first instance, but nonetheless, just for trying out sake, I gave it one play, but only one play.

As with all other similar games, it plays with 6 reels and 5 rows, but the starting bet depends on which casino you play the game. The one I played at has a starting bet of only $0.10 per spin, and that is my preference. I would avoid the game if it requires $0.20 instead. Looking at the paytable didn’t impress me either, with win values that are simply extremely low, from 50 coins down to 0.8 coin for any 6-of-a-kind win, all of which needing big multipliers to boost up the wins. No big multipliers, no big wins, simple as that. On top of that, both the Wild and the Scatter symbols are non-paying either. Can anyone asks for anything worse?

Landing 3 of the Free Spins scatter symbols would award the free spins feature game, but first, you need to pick one of the three Mushrooms to know what you are getting. The Lucky Ways feature game may award 6-of-a-kind wins, if you’re lucky enough to get all the appearing symbols in a winning combination. The Wild Stacks feature game awards up to 4 Wild Stacks (Wild Reels), with random multipliers up to 7x, so this feature can produce the desired big wins. The Random Wilds feature game awards up to 5 Wilds onto the reels, but yet again, these Wilds may not land in the correct locations to create big wins. The Wild Stacks would be the best choice, but most of your picks would usually get the Lucky Ways or the Random Wilds instead.

One free spin can also be randomly activated in the base game at any time, requiring you to pick one of the three mushrooms to get that one free spin of the selected feature. Nah, don’t ever expect to get anything nice from that one mere free spin. It is just an appetizer, so to speak. Wait for the three Free Spins symbols to land in order to get your decent meal, but the waiting may indeed be a long one!

During my play session, I only managed to get two feature games, namely the Lucky Ways, but thankfully, also the Wild Stacks. 10 free spins on The Lucky Ways could only pay me a lousy 16x win, with none of the 6-of-a-kind win, but the Wild Stacks did give me a more decent win of 132x. After getting this win, I quickly played the ‘hit and run’ game, as usual, hahaha. Would I come back for more of this Golden Leprechaun game? Nope, never!
