This is not another Elvis themed slot, "Elvis the King Lives" is one of the slots created by "WMS" possessed of an irregular layout, in this case the slot consists of 5 reels where the reels 1 and 2 are divided into two sets of 2 rows and the reels 3, 4, and 5 are on one block of 6 rows, but for me personally, this slot is unique since it is the only slot inspired by the life of Elvis where I have been able to get some profits so far, and I think that's why I've taken a liking, although I think that the fact this slot has been developed by "Williams Interactive - WMS" also influences in certain degree in my taste.

This game features 80-paylines, and 11-reels. The number of rows differ depending on the reel though. Basically each symbol of the first two columns resembles a reel. In addition, the remaining reels (9, 10 and 11) consist of 6-rows.

I like how cheap this game is when it comes to the minimum bet. 80-paylines can all be used with only betting 40 cents per spin. Practically this means that you can use 2 paylines for 1 cent. I had some decent success during the base game. The fact stacked wilds can appear on the reels obviously helps to get the best paying combinations.

To this day my best hit during base game is around 150x bet. Lots of Elvis wilds and the regular Elvis symbols made this happen. Elvis the King Lives also has an attractive free spins feature. You need 3 scatters (vinyl records) on the last 3 reels to appear to trigger this feature or alternatively the same symbol on reels 1-4 or reels 5-8.

So there are multiple ways that lead to Rome basically. I only got it triggered with the scatter symbols themselves though. Once this happens you win at least 5 free spins. First you get taken to another screen (Jukebox feature), then a sort of a wheel of fortune spins with a vinyl record in the middle and all types of prizes and additional spins that can be won around it.

If you’re really lucky you win a cash prize plus 10 additional free spins. However, the couple of times I did trigger this feature I wasn’t quite lucky as I only won a cash prize and no additional free spins. During free spins my wins were quite marginal with 30x bet being my best hit despite another set of reels getting used.

Overall a nice game but my results could definitely have been better.

This game could have been better with a multiplier in my opinion as reaching the free spins doesn't necessarily guarantee a decent hit.
