Habanero is not a strange provider name to me but I hardly ever play any of their games, except for one game, London Hunter. The Wild symbol is not only non-paying but appears only during the free spins play. All the other symbols pay lowly from 60x the total bet down to 1.6x, considered to be very low values, and there are no Scatter or Bonus symbols to give extra wins either. The Free Spins feature game, triggered after achieving 3 consecutive respins in a row, awards only 6 free spins and without any win multipliers even. On top of that, there can be no retriggering of the feature game, so getting any additional free spin is not possible at all. Now that to me, is simply horrible! There’s just no possible way of getting any nice big win on this game, that’s for sure!

Anyway, since I had wanted to try out this Colossal Gems game in the first place, I then set the minimum bet of $0.30 per spin, clicked on the Autoplay button, and then relaxed back into my chair, watching the reels spin by themselves. During that short session of play, many small insignificant wins came by, mostly not even 1x my bet amount, but the game certainly wasn’t a hungry one, if I may say so. My credits balance went down surely but slowly, got a pretty nice first free spins feature game that gave a 61x win, but the second feature game was a rather horrible one and paid only 11x win. With that, I decided that enough was enough and quickly quit the game. Come back for another try? Nah, I don’t think so!

Now the game has a re-spin feature with colossal symbols. So, on the first spin if you create a win, a re-spin occurs. During the first re-spin a 2x2 colossal symbol will land on the reels during that spin guaranteed. If you win during the 2x2 re-spins the next re-spin a guaranteed 3x3 colossal symbol will land on the reels. If you win during the 3x3 spin, you will get the final re-spins with a guaranteed 4x4 colossal symbol and if you win during that spins the free spins feature is trigger.

You will be awarded with 6 free spins and during those spins a special purple wild symbol land on the reels and you will find more 2x2, 3x3 or 4x4 colossal symbols during each spin for big wins. I must admit on average it takes me between 20 – 35 spins to trigger the feature. My biggest win was just over x200 and the rest of the triggers on average it paid x30 – x50 my total stake which is okay.
