Capt Quid's Treasure Quest Slot IGT (WagerWorks)

Capt Quid's Treasure Quest is 5 reels and 15 pay-lines video slot powered by IGT software developer. This slot is inspired by Pirates and their life on sea. The reels are set against the backdrop of a pirate ship with a skull hanging over the reels. If you like pirates give this slot a spin here for free or pay a visit to any of the IGT Casinos to play for real money.

Before you go hanging with these delightful creatures you are advised to set your bets. By clicking on "Lines +/-" you will set the number of lines, and by clicking on "Line Bet +/-" you can set the coins size which ranges from 1 to 100. "Spin" button will set the reel in motion, and by clicking on "Auto Spin" you will turn the reels without interruption for a chosen number of times.

This slot might not sweep you off of your feet because it lacks a bit in the special features but it does contain a Jackpot symbol, a Wild symbol and a Bonus symbol which triggers the bonus round. The Wild symbol in the game is the game’s logo. It can substitute for all the symbols except for the bonus symbol, and it forms its own winning combos. If you land 4 of them you will win 1000 credits, and if you land 5 of them with the maximum bet staked you will win 10,000 credits Jackpot.

The Bonus symbol is represented as a wooden chest, and if you land 3 bonus symbols your total bet will be multiplied by 5 which will be your prize. Four scatters will multiply total bet by 10, and 5 scatters will multiply it by 15. If you land 3 or more of these symbols anywhere on the reels you will activate the Bonus round.

The bonus round is a mini game and it consists out of two parts. When you activate it with 3 chest symbols, you will get 5 picks, and as you progress through islands you will be awarded with free spins and multipliers, as well as the re-pick opportunity. When you finish this part of the game, the free spins will ensue.

Captain Quid`s Treasure Quest is a video slot game from IGT that I have played on couple of occasions. I really liked the graphics of this game and the pirate theme so maybe that was the reason I gave it a second and a third try. The outcome was never good but one can always hope for different results, right?

Captain Quid`s Treasure Quest is a 5 reels and 15 pay lines video slot game. This game is powered with only one special feature the Captain Quid`s Free Spins. The good thing about this feature is that it is easily activated but the bad thing is that it is not that rewarding. The last time I played the Captain Quid`s Treasure Quest game I had the feeling that I will activate the feature so I raised my bet and again the win was nothing impressive.

Basically this is a 2 part mini game. To activate this feature you need at least 3 treasure chest symbols. You have 5 picks which will determine the number of free spins and the multiplier. It is possible to get an extra pick or to advance to another island but do not expect to always reach the final island. For some reason I always activate the feature but I never get a good multiplier. I usually get more free spins and a multiplier that never goes higher than x 2.

I must say that it is really disappointing at the end of a bonus round to see that you have won less than 5 euros. And if you choose to play this game get used to the idea that you will see that very often.

Captain Quid`s Treasure Quest may be a nice game but I never managed to land any decent win while playing it. I would say that there are better games than this one to choose form.

As the name of the game may imply it really deals with great ’pirate’ theme and I like these adventurous slots and their subjects but this time I have some serious issues with the appearance. First of all, the used colours here are not too wisely chosen ones and the very powerful red, blue and purple tints are not just too bright and vivid but playing the game they’re really getting bothering and a little bit irritating to my eyes. I don’t know why it must be so colourful, a well-designed and created appearance easily can be very effective without overusing any decorative pictorial elements. The pirate ship, treasure chest, compass and especially the cards (which font styles are not too fitting to the theme) are really oversized for the reel are and I can’t say they would be too attractive or graphically well worked out components so for me this interface is not too likeable and I think it would offer some options for creators to re-think it and make the necessary fixing process.

This is a 15-line product and comparing other such type of products this slot provides some real good qualities like the Jackpot, which is 10.000 times of line bet and it’s quite good for a mini-game like this. The special name giving symbol can give us that success and also acts as Wild to replace other icons in winning combinations without win multiplying capability. The best segment of the game without a question is the Treasure Quest Bonus round which is activated after getting 3 or more Treasure Chest figures during normal game and before we actually start to play free games we have to participate in a little treasure hunt adventure as we’re shown 5 maps from which 2 maps contain 4 possible target where treasures may have been dig, 1 map 3, 2 and 1 locations. At the start we have 5 attempts to find treasures and every successful selection gives additional free spins, multiplier numbers, bonus and advance selections (this latter means we can move to the next map and increased winnable things). We can continue picking until our given number of selections or we can reach the final map. Normally, the awarded spin number is around 10-15 while the used multiplier during the extra is great as I have never got less than x4.

This free spin section (just like the entire game) is not a bad feature at all and most of the occasions it behaves very correctly and give back some appreciable amounts but rare times it was succeeded to surprise me with its open-handed conduct. The winning tendency during base game are also not bad and basically the game is really working that way as it should and the payouts and rewarding ability of it is fair and acceptable. Overall, this would be a solid and average game if the appearance weren’t like this. Probably, lot of players don’t really care about how a slot game looks like but for me it’s a very important standpoint and this segment along with others dictates my playing time at a slot and here where I don’t really like the displaying qualities of the game it influences my visiting frequency time here and even my global opinion about the game so that’s why Capt. Quid’s Treasure Quest is not among the group of games what I could consider as a real good product and my entertainment and visual satisfaction is very limited at this video slot.

Capt Quid's Treasure is a game that I play on Bet365. It is a very interesting game with a cool bonus. When I started playing this game I could not get the feature for ages. At some point I thought it might never come out but after messing about with the bet and double tapping a couple of times I finally managed to get it. Straight away I fell in love with the feature. It is a pick bonus with free spins as reward and is just what I like. The first time I got the feature I got 12 free spins with 4x. On a bet of €0.45 it paid to around €60. With a possibility to get more spins with a higher multiplier makes this game a catch.

The other thing that I like about this game is the wilds. They come out a lot and I managed to get 4 of them few times. Never managed to get 5, it would have paid €300 on €0.45 bet.

The pays in this game are decent and the graphics are pretty good. The pays are also coming out a lot and by now I am pretty much use to getting 5 of a kind of the smaller symbols. I know it does not pay a lot, but brings you back to where you started.

This game is really fussy, and there are times when it is impossible to get the feature. I have had times with over 200 spins and no feature. Two bonus symbols would come out but the third one would not.

The other thing that is annoying is the pay lines. They don’t cover some lines that most 15 line games would, and you end up missing out on some great wins. It would have been much better if this game had 25 or 30 lines.

Over all great game if it wants to be. My rating 7 out of 10.
