Candy Blitz Review - Editor’s Impressions
UK players can prepare for another exciting sweet-themed slot with this innovative Candy Blitz game. Like Sweet Bonanza and other similarly themed titles, the reels are filled with tasty treats, and players can enjoy various bonus features.
To conduct online slots reviews, we thoroughly test the slot’s gameplay and see how it does. In the 200-spin cycle we used to try this game, we found the wins infrequent and generally in smaller amounts. However, every 10 to 20 spins, we would get a slightly bigger win, though it took us until around spin 190 to trigger the bonus feature.
Despite the seemingly minor wins, we should say that our bankroll stayed within £50 to £100 of the starting amount. Considering the slot’s volatility, it’s about what you expect.
Join us as we collect sweets and information during this Candy Blitz slot review to see what tasty rewards and gameplay UK players can look forward to while spinning the reels.
Overview of Candy Blitz Game
Pragmatic Play has dropped some of the best sweet-themed slots in the market, and they’re back with another one. This digital Candy Blitz slot machine has a fun mechanic that features a pay-anywhere system. That means instead of traditional slot paylines, you’ll land a win if eight or more of the same symbols are present anywhere on the reels.
The tumbling reels ensure you can land more possible wins during your spin, sometimes working well with the pay-anywhere mechanic to eliminate more than half the symbols on the reels. The characters are all delicious-looking sweets.
On the left of the reels, you’ll also see a small screen that shows you the wins you land within a single spin. You can place bets as low as £0.20 per spin, perfect for casual players. However, high-rollers aren’t left out, as the maximum bet is £240. This slot has six reels and five rows in which multiple symbols can fall.
Candy Blitz RTP, Payout and Volatility
We found the Candy Blitz real money game to have an RTP of 96.08%.
This slot has very high volatility, which shows why the wins are infrequent and why triggering the bonus feature is difficult. Further, the max win of this slot is 10,000x your stake.
Candy Blitz Graphics and Gaming Experience
While relatively standard for a Pragmatic Play sweet-themed slot, we still enjoyed the excellent graphics and sound. The background to the reels is a gooey, tasty wonderland, while the reels themselves look like they’re made from biscuit.
The sound is a generic, relaxing tune in the background, with settings that let you turn off the ambient music or sound FX. You can also turn on the mode Battery Saver, which will slow the animation speed to consume less of your device’s battery while playing.
Candy Blitz Bonus Features
Besides the tumbling reels, the Candy Blitz slot demo shows another innovative feature part of the gameplay. We’re used to multipliers in slots, but this time, the multiplier has its own reel, separate from the central reels. This spins with the other reels and can award 1x symbols, which are blank and multiplier sweets.
The multipliers on these can range from 2x to 500x your win. Each time a winning combination appears, the candy at the bottom of the reel in the special slot will apply to that win and disappear. As such, multiple tumbles can result in various multiplied wins.
Candy Blitz Free Spins
As with many pay-anywhere slots with bonus rounds, this game requires four of the chocolate star cookie Scatters across the reels at minimum to trigger the Free Spins instead of three. Four, five, or six Scatters will give you 10, 12, or 14 Free Spins on new reels.
Even better, if another four, five, or six Scatters land on the reels during the Free Spins, you can get an additional five, eight, or 10 Free Spins. During the Free Spins, the multiplier reel will remove the 1x blank candies, meaning you’re guaranteed with every tumble win to at least get a 2x multiplier win.

Summary of Candy Blitz - Experience Up to 500x Multipliers
Are you excited to experience sweet tumbles and multiplier gameplay? You can test the Candy Blitz slot demo on this page to help prepare yourself for the real money gameplay. The slot’s high max win of 10,000x your stake and Free Spins bonus feature create anticipation to play the game. Further, these tips below won’t lead you wrong.
The very high volatility will mean less frequent wins and lower chances of hitting the bonus feature. As such, if the feature triggers, lower your bet amount afterward for 40 to 50 spins to lessen your losses. It can become easy to lose track of your bankroll playing a slot with this high a variance, so always ensure you stick to your bankroll and don’t gamble what you can’t afford to lose.
Lovers of Sweet Bonanza who are looking for something new yet similar to that game should have a look at this candy-themed slot.
A slot from Pragmatic Play and it is one of those sweet candy themed slots that many players like especially those with a sweet tooth. It comes in the form of a 6x5 cluster rid and a min bet of just 0.20 per spin. You need at least 8 symbols of the same candy type to be a win. Max win cap is a decent chunky 10,000x.
Triggering was not an issue at all even though you need at least 4 scatters to get 10 free spins but if you get 5 or 6 then you get 12 or 14 free spins. I like slots that give more free spins for more scatters and Candy Blitz ticks that box. The slot has this side reel that has candies with multipliers, so Pragmatic when for something different with this cluster slot and I like different as it shows they are coming up with new ideas. Another box it ticks is that you can get more spins with a re-trigger of 4 or more scatters during the free spins feature.
Base game sure that has some dead spins and teases especially when you are dealing with a slot that needs 4 scatters so you will get to see 3 scatters and tease you for the 4th but stick with it and the 4th will show up no doubt about it.
The music is nothing seriously here and the sound effects too, the music doesn’t get on my nerves and I left it on for the duration of the session even if it was less than 100 spins but still when a slot is paying well then music can’t bother you. The scatters do have their loud bang sound effect as in most Pragmatic slots.
The bonus buy has a price tag of 100x and there is no super bonus buy here at all and it is kept simple with 100x.
I played the 94.03% RTP version and had no issues with it and it did what it did and gave me a profitable session but just barely thanks to a nice base win of just over 29x.
When it came to the free spins, I found out that the slot is capable of giving some of the lowest paying features and what it did was a 0.5x win for the free spins. It was the 4 scatter feature with 10 free spins and shocked me to get a 0.5x win. Obviously if I played more I would get better wins from the features but it is a shock to the system to get slapped with a feature that pays under 10x and I think there should be some bonus guarantees that other slots have.
