Before you start investigating this myth, you should set your betting range. When you click on "Bet Level +/-" you will set the number of coins per line you wish to bet. By clicking on "Coin +/-" you can adjust coins size which ranges from 0.01 to 25. "Autoplay" is used to set how many times you wish for reels to turn without interruption on an already chosen bet range. Again, Native American cultures have been the inspiration of a gambling software developer to create the theme of one of their video slots, and in this case, more specifically, “Habanero Systems” is the one who has decided to use images of totems, buffaloes, bears, owls, deer and snakes to recreate this tribal environment in its “Bird of Thunder” slot which, like most of its works, it is a visually appealing game that reflects the professionalism of its authors.
Many of the previous Habanero games that have passed through my hands, they have been equipped with quite fun and potentially profitable special features; but unfortunately that does not seem to be the case in this game since today I played it for the first time, during a session that lasted almost half an hour, I had a hard time getting my first and only round of free spins and then finishing disappointed as this feature did not turn out to be what I imagined based on the difficulty to gain access to it.
The only extra feature attached to the mentioned round is that each wild that appears on the reels creates a copy of itself and is randomly deposited on some other symbol; and as far as I am concerned, this is not a precisely strong feature, and even more so when the copies of the wilds seem to be landing at the less adequate place at key moments; additionally, for this to be useful it would be necessary that three or more wilds appeared to end up with at least 6 wilds on the reels in the same spin.
Another important aspect that affects this last feature, it is low prices stipulated for the lines formed with practically all the symbols, excepting perhaps, prices for lines of 5 of a kind with the symbols of bear and buffalo; in fact, this does not only affect results during free spins but also during the base game, so it can be said that the winning potential is low in general.
As expected, my best profit came from a full round of free games, which was almost 26x my total bet, which was not really much since it was not enough to recover a quarter of my accumulated losses in that moment.
Except for its good look, I really do not find many positives to highlight in this slot; I just think this is a slot to keep it in the trunk; luckily there are other slots within Habanero's portfolio that seem to offer better opportunities than this one.
