Alaxe in Zombieland Games Global

Talk about fantasy games, there's Alice in Wonderland, and there's Alaxe in Zombieland. Hmmm. Title wise, I'd pick Alaxe in Zombieland as looking more fun and adventurous. Yeah, I do like zombie games, so anything with a zombie title I'd surely give it some plays. The latest zombie game from Microgaming, Lost Vegas, was fun to play but not so fun for the wallet. Not for my wallet anyway. This Alaxe in Zombieland has been around for some years now, but I have not played it before, mainly because it wasn't available in the only Microgaming online casino that I'm playing at. I found and tried out this game at another multi-platformed casino.

I must say that the game looks quite errie in its presentation. A full moon against a dark cemetery scenario, with dark tombstone icons, and with a scary looking Alaxe. I could have easily mistaken her for a zombie! Hahaha. Once again, I don't think it's a true Microgaming game, but never mind. The Brain is the Wild symbol in the game. It doubles all wins with it, substitutes for other symbols except for the Scatter symbol, but doesn't pay anything for itself and doesn't become stacked or expanded. It's a dumb one. There are 3 types of Scatter symbols. Why need 3, beats me! Getting 3 of each Scatter symbol pays 5x the total bet, but get 5 Scatters and you may get nothing. That's because there aren't any 5 of them. Each Scatter symbol only appears on 3 reels, either on reels 1, 2 and 3, on reels 2, 3 and 4, or on reels 3, 4 and 5, each with it's own feature game. The scary looking Alaxe pays a decent 2500x the line bet for getting 5 of her, and the other symbols pay from 1250x down to 100x the line bet for 5 of each kind. Sorry, but it's a low paytable, so don't hope for getting nice big huge wins from Alaxe.

Scatter type 1, the Clock, triggers the Tea Party Free Spins game. Pick one of the Scatter symbols to reveal how many picks you get, then pick the Teapots to reveal the number of free spins and its multiplier. The Free Spins game can be retriggered, and the other 2 feature games can also be triggered during the free spins, with the wins multiplied by the Free spins multiplier. Hmm, sounds good this. Scatter type 2, the Rod, triggers the Red Queen Adventure game. Pick the white roses to stain them with blood and win cash prizes. Equalling or beating the amount shown on the Tombstone takes you to the next higher level, 3 levels in all. Scatter type 3, the Idol, triggers the Gravestones game. Pick the gravestones to win prizes. Getting 'collect' ends the game. 3 different kinds of Scatter symbols with 3 different feature games. As usual, I like the Free Spins game the best, but the other 2 games are not too bad.

Playing this game for the very first time was quite interesting, simply because of the 3 different Scatter kinds and their corresponding games. The free spins is common, picking the gravestones is quite common too, and only the white roses game was a bit different. I managed to get to the third level on 2 occasions, but failed to beat or equal the amount shown on the gravestone, thereby failing to get the maximum win possible. Fun and entertaining at first, but can become a chore after many plays on it.

I really like what Microgaming has done with the very popular fairy tale Alice in Wonderland. They probably took the theme but they changed it and made an interesting slot such as this one Alaxe in Zombieland. What I love the most when it comes to this game is that it offers so much entertainment. I cannot say that I have played slot that is similar to this one before. This is 5 reels and 25 pay lines video slot which offers 3 second level features. The first time I played the game it took me a while to trigger the bonus game and the free spins, but I have to say it was worth it.

You need at least 3 scatters to trigger each feature. The Tea Party Free spins feature is triggered by getting 3 scatter “1” symbols on the first, second and the third reel. I have not triggered this feature, even though I have played the game many times. This is strange because usually this is a very easy feature to trigger, at least that is what everyone is saying.

The second feature is called Red Queen`s Adventure and you need to get scatter “2” on the second, third and the fourth reel. I did not like this feature so much because it offers small prizes only. I have never won more than 25 x bet with this feature. The last feature is called Gravestones and from my experience this is the one that you can trigger very often. There are 15 gravestones and you have to pick until you find the one that says collect. I was getting around 50 x bet size every time with this feature. I know it is not much but it is activated very easily so it is a great boost to my balance. And last but not the least is the sound effects and the symbols in this slot. They are very well crafted and interesting.
