On 8/17/24 I played at Bovada Casino. I made a btc depositof @$25. I didn't use any bonus. I played for a short time and won @ $30.
Upon requesting a cash out for $53.86, I became aware that Bovada now requires to send a verification text to the account phone number. I had not played at Bovada for some time and the phone number on my account was an old number and long forgotten.
They required I send an email with my driver's license and also a selfie holding my driver's license. As I am a long- time online casino player, I have been through this dreaded scenario many, many times, although I will say, never with Bovada.
I was pretty sure I would have to file a complaint to incentavise Bovada to verify my account and pay my cash out in a fair and timely manner. After reading through 18 pages of complaints against Bovada, here at AG, I am certain of it.
I provided the documents Bovada requested on 8/17. My account has not been updated so I am unable to request a withdraw.
I did appeal to their dispute resolution team without success.
I would be greatful for any assistance that Ask Gamblers could provide in this matter. Thank you for your consideration in this matter.

AG, as you are aware, I have provided Bovada with my identification documents multiple times on 8/17 and on many days following 8/17. I have provided my identification documents once again today 8/30. I have sent copies to AG via email.
I urge my fellow players take note. A word to the wise is sufficient.

As of this morning 8/31 my account has been updated and I was able to make a btc withdraw for the total balance.
Bovada has had the requested documents from the day they requested them on 8/17. I don't understand why they were unable to verify them in a timely manner.
Their irresponsible handling of funds only breeds distrust from their players. They should realize, without players, you have no platform.
