Account locked and no responses after weeks of waiting
On the 14th of July 2018 i registered at 777.com.
After a longer pause of gambling i felt like i want to have some online-gambling-fun again.
The website looked nice - so i registered. I got a regular welcome email and then i cashed in EUR 1000.-
I played for a while and was lucky. My funds went up to above EUR 8000.-
When i changed from one game to another all of the sudden my account was locked.
The information i got was that 777.com belongs to the 888 group ans that previously i had self excluded me a longer time ago from an 888 account.
I have never had any problems with 888, it was just a longer tim ago that i decided to take a break.
On registering with 777 i could not see its part of 888 group, and i was regularly welcomed via email. They let me cash in and play.
At the time they stopped it i had funds of EUR 7.900.-
When i wrote to 777.com on the 14th they appologized and said it will be taken care of.
I gave them - as usual - all my contact details, telling them i am available anytime.
After some days the finally wrote me back i should contact someone else. Manager@888casino.com is responsible for my case.
So after very few reactions for the first 8 days from cassava/777 on the 22nd of July i contacted them with my inquiry for a solution. I explained the case and suggest to please open up my account again so i can gamble with my 7900 EUR, or if this is not what they want me to, wire the funds to the account i cashed in from.
I again gave adress, email, phone - telling them i am available anytime.
I heard nothing back. No mail. No answer somebody will care for anyday. Nothing.
So 5 days later on the 27th of July i told them that i am still waiting for a response. And i really hoped to get an answer this time.
Another 4 days down the road without any word, i wrote a last email. I was telling 888 that i am still hoping for an answer, which i am allowed to expect from a stock listed, thought-to-be serious company caring for their customers after a sudden account lock without a word and 16 days trying to talk to someone.
I also sent some screenshots i luckily made of my funds in the account (at EUR 6000 and 8100).
My next steps are now trying to find regulation via Askgamblers.
If they wont react to this i will be doing a double strategy.
A) i will turn in my screenshots; email; data saved to my lawyer and the gambling comissiob
B) i will buy shares of 888 group, turn to investor relations and raise the point on the annual meeting of the company to the board because i am stunnned on how a big - exchange listed company - is treating clients.
Not responding at all is, in my opinion, a shame and an absolute no-go.
I hope it is all just a big misunderstanding and we can sort this out via the help of Askgamblers.
