I’ve had a pretty good experience with Bovada so far. The site feels established and it was easier to use than I expected once I got used to where everything was. I liked that I could find what I wanted without too much trouble, and overall it gave me the feeling of being a proper site rather than something thrown together.

The downside for me is that it doesn’t always feel the most modern, and a few things could be explained in a clearer way for new users. It wasn’t a bad experience, just one where I think some parts could feel a bit more straightforward. Overall though, I’d say it’s been a good site for me

They wrote me a bad check and refused to fix it. Customer service in horrible. Stay away from this site. They just keep telling me 10-15 days and nothing gets done

So I travel overseas to my hometown of Haiti, I decide to log in to my Bovada account but it said that Bovada isn’t available in Haiti but if I’m a traveling member I can sign in and use the website... So i did exactly that, I signed in and was able to deposit money and place a bet. I won the bet and I go to withdraw my money, it said that then withdrawal is pending (which never happens to me). I wake up the next day and I get an email from Bovada Investigation saying that they are investigating my account for fraudulent activity because my IP address didn’t match my address. I explain to them that I am traveling so obviously it won’t match... 1 week later I get an email from them saying how that they concluded that my account has fraudulent activity and they disabled.
My account.. So basically they seized $300 from me because of something that THEY allowed me to do. STAY AWAY TRUST ME

I am happy to see that this site has given them a honest rating. Initially I thought they were great. Everything seemed to be true. Easy deposit, good bonus, and a on time easy withdraw process. And then……

I am not going to get into my story as I have not made a official complaint yet. I broke no rules as I combed through the terms and conditions like I would be tested on them. They do not have the rules that will get you suspended in the terms and condition bulletpoints. They are hidden with others that do not really concern players. Sports you can only bet 50% of your deposit if you take a Bonus. Casino is 20% of your deposit and you can not switch games. If you win money in Blackjack and take it to the slots you violate those terms. If you increase your bet and then drop it down to less then half of your last winning bet you violate terms. With the edge already in there favor and maxed out at 20% you just play to your money is gone. Its literally impossible with those rules. So stick to the sports or do not take a Bonus.

The other thing is they throw out a major incentive in Bonus money for friend referrals. They use the trust you have between your friends as bait to fund there sportsbook. Then they suspend every account regardless. Don’t matter if your friends won or lost.

Other major red flags - You can not speak to a supervisor in reference to any suspension which lets you know how often they do this. The only option on there phone line in which you can speak to someone is the deposit help line. And the best of them all is how well trained there Live Chat agents are. They are so friendly and polite that you almost feel bad by the the time they ask you to give the chat a rating.

Nothing. Platform seemed fine until I won and tried to make a withdrawal. Everything changed. Left with no account and frozen money forever. Would not recommend for anyone.

The worst! If you win - they close your account and start 'investigation' for months and they do not provide any information. So basically - just takes your money and keep investigating forever.

Need to work on customer service and provide quick responses. Should have time frames Fixed to provide smoother customer responses also there should be a helping hotline

Fast ETH withdrawals when requested. Never had an issue until my most recent request. Not too many other positive things about this site. Wouldn’t suggest using it

They disabled my account and said it was under review after requesting a withdrawal. They said it’s due to money laundering which makes zero sense considering I’ve followed their ToS. Customer service is the absolute WORST. Too hard to get a hold of and whenever you get a response it’s an automated generic response

As a recovering gambling addict, I can say that I really appreciate Bovada's very small minimum wager. The website is also very easy to use because of its very professional feel. This is a good site for beginners to gambling but not so much for veterans.

I did say that simplicity is a good thing but that is also its greatest weakness. The site itself is bare-bones when it comes to many things.
The one that suffered most is probably the withdrawal and payment methods. There are only two for each. Despite having only so few options, I find that the customer support is unresponsive when asking for assistance in withdrawal. I am only betting and withdrawing relatively small amounts.
Big chunks happen when I hit a jackpot but that is only one time and the withdrawal took more than the estimated time.
Avid gamers who came to risk and win big should definitely avoid Bovada, at least for now.

Have played at Bovada for 10+ years, and have only had one problem with them in that time. That one problem was eventually 100% resolved. Have never had a withdrawal issue, and their withdrawals are pretty quick.

Their customer service is pretty slow to respond, and isn't great with communicating beyond stock replies. They will, however, eventually get things taken care of. Some of the poker players are pretty slow.

They used to have Las Vegas phone support. They have good video feeds, but those are also available at Betonline. Betonline seems to care far more about their customers than Bovada.

Extremely slow pay - raise any flag or excuse not to pay out in a timely fashion. Shutdown phone support. Email support was originally responsive, but then they claimed another issue pupped up and forced me to communicate strictly through email for 4 days and they request a Number, date and time to call, takes two days to get a callback all the while taking advantage of rising bitcoin prices. Very unethical behavior.
