Safari sam 2 is the newest release from Betsoft. This is a really weird slot in terms of gameplay with the stacked symbols paying on their own, disappear and new cascades come in. I have never played the original Safari Sam, but this version was a bit weird and confusing in the beginning lol.

This slot has 5 reels and 50 paylines set in a Game Drive with the tour guide showing people the lions, zebras, and all kinds of animals. You will also find the royal card deck symbols, not sure the payout values, but I know my balance remains the same when I put this slot on auto-spin. The lion, Zebra, game drive car and host the lady and old man are the higher paying symbol.

Besides the weird stacked symbol pays feature, the slot is a bit pretty straightforward besides the random wild and free spins feature.

There is a calling of the wilds feature where up to 4 reels, can be stacked with wild symbols for big wins, believe me in the base game you hardly get more than 1 reels turning wild, and to make it worst, the stacked wilds land on the 4th or 5th reels. Sometimes I think this slot is a copy of Safari Heat from Play Tech without the call of the wilds feature and missing multiplier.

Landing 3 tree scatter symbols awards 10 free spins, if you land more I think you get more free spins. During free spins the game plays the same as the base game, however, all the spins during free spins activated the compass calling of the wilds feature.

Stacked wilds during free spins and the base game do not pay like normal symbols stacked on a reel, however, what I noticed that when you land wilds and it created a win when new symbols drop down from those wilds, another set of stacked wilds are guaranteed, basically getting you a 2nd chance to win big, provided 4 reels has wild symbols.

Make no mistake even during free spins you will see only 1 or 2 stacked symbols, which gives me the indication this game is also highly volatile for big wins, as the paytable is okayish.

I think this was a good release from Betsoft, where you can see the reels spinning compare to their last 5 releases where the reels spin so fast like Blitz Mode, where you don’t see anything, especially if it's auto-spin. I really hate those like Spring Tails.

I had just x50 wins during free spins, but this slot does not get a lot of my play-time either. Just wanted to try it.
