Black Beauty

A slot from Gamomat and has a black horse theme and comes with the usual 5 reels, 3 rows, and a choice between 10 fixed pay-lines and 20 fixed pay-lines. Going with the 10 pay-lines is what I recommend to get as many shots at the free spins feature and it comes with just 0.10 per spin.

The free spins feature is indeed in this game and needs 3 scatters and the scatters can only appear on reels 1, 3 and 5. Simple isn’t it and what you do get is a fair number of spins which is 10 in this case. Good thing is that the free spins can be re-triggered by getting those 3 scatters again and again, each time giving you 10 more spins. The scatters are also wilds during the feature so they work well together with the lady wild.

Black beauty did not waste any time and spat out a feature to me in under 20 spins when I tried it for the first time and that is really something when a slot just hands you the feature early, then it went on to pay 36x which could have been better but I will take it considering it wasn’t a long wait at all.

Black beauty slot can be enjoyed with music play during the slotting and the usual Gamomat sound effects that like play during any wins and scatters that land on the reels, when it comes to the music Gamomat even included some music for those that get 5 correct guesses in a row in the color gamble feature. Besides the gamble feature of cards there is also the ladder gamble but I prefer to stick to the color gamble myself.

The slot comes with a simple auto-play function with on or off which isn’t as good as the advanced version that Gamomat also has but it is what it is and better than none, there is also the option of having turbo spins on and entering a feature when a feature is triggered.

The music in the base game and feature is good and gets interrupted by the loud bangs and sound effects which can’t be turned off to just keep the music playing, one of these days Gamomat will realize that some players like to play with just music on and or sound effects on only without both being on. The game should have the advanced version of auto-play to make it better and there are no bonus buys to skip the base game grind.

Glancing at this game by Gamomat, you would see an elegant and beautiful lady looking at you, like telling you to please come and play her game. Well, don’t know about you or the others, but I certainly got caught by her telepathic message, and I was instantly attracted to her game! Nope, she’s not the black beauty of the game, the black horse is, but to me, she’s the main attraction, and she’s a beautiful wild, I mean, she’s the Wild symbol in the game, hehehe.

The game plays with 20 lines, but you can select to play with either 10 or 20 lines. That’s good enough for me, although I would prefer a line by line selection, as in a few of other older games, but at least I can start trying out this game with just 10 cents bet per spin. Getting 5 of the Lady would pay 250x the staked amount, which is quite good, and the Black Horse is a non-paying Scatter symbol, appearing only on reels 1, 3 and 5, and awards 10 free spins without any multiplier. No multiplier means no boosting up of wins, but the Black Horse also acts as a Wild symbol during the free spins, to give more winning chances. More free spins can be retriggered as well, so that’s a good point. The other symbols pay from 50x down to 5x for any five of a kind, so the overall paytable is quite good.

I started my playing session with only 10 lines, wanting to see how the game would play and pay. The first free spins feature game didn’t take that long to be triggered, but it paid rather poorly, giving a mere win of just 15x my staked amount. From there on, I played with the full 20 lines, hoping for a better game play, but the second free spins feature game was just as poorly as the first. It paid only a 16x win. Argh! Never mind, I said to myself, and continued on playing. After about 250 spins later, the third feature game came, but this time around, the beautiful Lady and the Black Beauty behaved much better. The free spins got retriggered a total of 4 times, and out of those 50 free spins, it paid a decent 148x win.

That’s not really a good win, to be very honest, and I was expecting at least a 200x win instead, considering that there were 4 retriggers in total, but maybe just not my luck yet this time around. Another time another day perhaps, but I’d surely be seeing more of this beautiful Lady in the future, hehehe.

Black Beauty is a 5 reel with 20 Paylines video slot from Gamomat Software.
The 'Black Beauty' is a slot about a Black Horse. However, there is another character on the reels, and that is a beautiful Lady who owns the horse. Looking at the design, one can freely conclude that this slot is mainly aimed towards the female population. First of all, the player has to choose the number of lines that you want. There are 2 options here 10 and 20 lines. That is a slight downside, nonetheless the smooth gameplay compensates the whole concept. The high symbols are: Tiara/Horse necklace/Saddle/3 White horses. The low symbols are: 10/J/Q/K/A. The beautifull Lady, stands for the Wild symbol and will substitute every other symbol except for the Scatter. The Scatter is the Black Horse. Landing 3 of them, player gets 10 Free Spins.
