Hey guys, I received multiple emails, regarding a welcome bonus from Happyslots.
They kept getting larger and larger and eventually I caved and decided I'd give it a try.
I'm used to casinos screwing things up, so I tried to be as direct as possible, even going as far, as to send them an attachment with the exact bonus I was referring to.
I'll send you guys copies of the emails I sent them ( the important ones anyways).
The bonus was supposed to be for 200% match bonus which you had to "work off" up to 3000$ as well as up to 750$ Cash (whatever you deposit over 75$ they give you 200% in cash added straight to your account!
The 200% match bonus part carries a 30x rollover and the cash portion only needed to be rolled over 1x... pretty freakin sweet deal eh?!
Problem is they only give you 3 days to complete the bonus!
Oh, and they don't work on sundays!
I applied for the bonus on a sunday evening/night and couldn't get ahold of anyone but because I had to make the deposit before midnight or lose it, I went ahead, made the deposit and did what I was supposed to do which was email them to inform them of my intent to receive the bonus.
I received the bonus at 8:36PM on the 16th of August, which is when they started my 3 day timer, only problem was they didn't include the cash portion of my bonus!
Now, I'm sure you guys are well aware of the rule that just about every single casino has...You don't start wagering your bonus until you've properly received your bonus!
It's happened to me more than once (not in awhile cause I learned me lesson early on that you don't start wagering until you've received your entire bonus)!
At 8:07 "Pacific Time" on the 17th, almost a full 24 hours into my 3 day limit, I sent them an email saying this:
"I didn't get the cash portion of my bonus.
I even sent you guys an attachment of the bonus I was supposed to receive, and they still didn't get it right.
It would be nice to get that added today, as I'm sure if i start using my balance, you guys won't add it for me, so I guess I'll wait."
I waited a few minutes, then remembered I could try messaging them on the live chat.
Now, what I'm not 100% sure about is whether I was able to receive the bonus right away on the Monday, or whether it wasn't until the Tuesday that I received it! I just noticed in my email correspondence with them that it shows that on Tues the 18th at 12:28AM them telling me "Hello Jason, Thank you for reaching out to us. We are pleased to inform you that an amount of CAD 400 has been credited to your account" Regardless though, this had a huge impact on why I wasn't able to finish the wagering on time.
At exactly 8:36 on the 18th the bonus was removed from my account.
I tried explaining to their live chat that I didn't receive the cash portion of my bonus until late on the 17th (or early morning on the 18th) and they responded by saying " that part of the bonus has nothing to do with the match bonus portion which is the portion they removed" I tried to explain that while that may be the case surely had I began wagering at all it would have disqualified me from receiving the rest of my bonus... So, I'm damned if I do and damned if I don't!
I think, especially given the fact I was EXTREMEMLY descriptive about the bonus I was supposed to receive and they still messed it up, surely the clock shouldn't begin until I receive the entire bonus, otherwise I'm at risk of losing the entire cash portion of the bonus!
I will go ahead and send you guys whatever I have in terms of emails and chats etc.
