Overview of the Mermaid Millions Game
The Mermaid Million slot is a five-reel, four-row title developed by Games Global, formerly Microgaming. The game has 15 fixed paylines formed by matching three or more matching symbols, two or more for Wilds, starting from reel one.
On the reels, styled A, K, Q, J, and 10 card faces are the low-paying symbols, while the seahorse, clam and pot gems are the high-paying symbols. The bearded figure of Neptune represents the Wild, and the Scatter is the mermaid figure. An additional Treasure Chest symbol is available during the base game and bonus rounds.
The betting range is between £0.15 and £150, so the slot suits both high-rollers and low-stakes players.

Mermaid Millions Graphics and Gaming Experience
The Mermaid Millions slot takes you to a mystical world beneath the ocean’s surface. The reels are set against an underwater tapestry filled with treasure chests. Symbols and their corresponding payouts appear at the top of the reels, with bonus features to the left.
The soothing sound effects of bubbling water and occasional splash immerse players into the depths of the sea as they search for treasures. This design captures the magic of the ocean to match the theme accurately.
Mermaid Millions Bonus Features
Several bonus features will boost your chances of landing winning combinations while playing this five-reel slot. The Wild will substitute for all other standard symbols while the Scatter triggers the Free Spins round.
Apart from the two special symbols, a Treasure bonus feature is triggered by landing three, four or five chests on the reels. This will take you deeper into the seabed, where you will have a corresponding number of picks to unlock random prizes.
Mermaid Millions Free Spins
The Free Spins feature is triggered by landing three, four or five Scatter symbols. After awarding 4x, 50x or 400x the stake, you will be awarded 10 Free Spins.
During this round, all standard payouts are boosted by a 3x multiplier, which trebles the payout. However, if three or more Scatters land on the reels, you will retrigger the 10 Free Spins with multipliers that can lead to the max payout.

Mermaids never stop to amaze me, from the various videos purporting to show a mermaid in real life, to videos showing mermaid's corpses, to the metal mermaid of Copenhagen sitting on a rock for ever, and to the mermaids available in various games. Are mermaids real? Who knows for sure, but you can be sure that whatever mermaid you are playing with, can certainly be good for you, or otherwise. This mermaid, for instance, promises you millions in winnings, but whether it is for you or for the game provider, your guess is as good as mine. I tend to think of the latter, hahaha.
The King of the oceans, Neptune, is the Wild symbol, 5 of him pays 7500x the line bet, and does only substitution for other symbols except for the Scatter and the Bonus symbols. No doubling of wins, no expanding, no stacking, no nothing. Makes the King a dumb King. Oh, okay, the symbol, not the King. The Mermaid is the Scatter symbol, 5 of her pays 400x the total bet amount, which is very good, and getting 3 or more of these Scatters trigger 10 free spins with all wins tripled. More free spins can be retriggered. Should have been 15 free spins instead, but what to do, Microgaming doesn't want to give everything to me and you. The Chest is the Bonus symbol, which doesn't pay anything for itself, damn, and getting 3 or more of them on any payline triggers the Treasure Bonus game. All the other symbols pay from 500x the line bet to 75x the line bet, for 5 of each kind. A good paytable.
In the Treasure Bonus game, pick 3 chests out of the 12, to reveal cash prizes, to win up to 2500 coins, or 166x the total bet amount. Good, if you can get that much. All my pickings from the numerous Bonus games that I've played all paid between 3x - 20x my bet amount. Hmm, imagine just how difficult it must be to get that 166x win! As for the Free Spins game, again from the many games that I've played over the years, I've gotten only a very few retriggers of the Free Spins game, and my best win to date was only 121x my bet amount. The worse case that I can still remember was getting only 1 paying spin out of the 10 free spins, for a miserable 5x my bet amount win. That sucks.
I had expected a much better gameplay from Mermaids Millions, considering that the paytable was good, but I had always ended up disappointed, with not a single withdrawal win over the years. That is actually quite ridiculous, because I could always get wins from other provider's games, but almost never from Microgaming.
