We have great news for Canadian players as industry giants Playtech have signed a new deal which means they can now reach out to Canadian residents. London-listed Playtech has teamed up with Canada’s NorthStar Gaming with an exciting new strategic partnership that’ll see the providers launch their iGaming and sports betting platform in the region.
Playtech Enters Canada
The new partnership now means that Playtech can roll out their IMS platform, alongside their casino products which include online slots, live games, poker, and bingo for NorthStar’s launch in Ontario.
Playtech will provide NorthStar with their technology platform so they can deliver a player-focused experience for Canadian players which can be completed after regulatory approvals and the licensing process.
NorthStar will launch in Ontario to provide Canadian players with the ultimate Playtech experience.
Final igaming sports and event betting regulatory standards were released in Ontario back in October 2021 and they are now preparing to open the province to private competition, the first in the region to establish an official licensing system.
