All BetConstruct’s white-label partners will be able to receive cryptocurrency deposits, in hopes to reach a larger player pool. Additionally, players playing at Vbet will enjoy the same perks.
The company’s move towards crypto doesn’t come as a surprise, considering that more and more players are moving from fiat currencies to crypto.
Continued Growth With Crypto and Blockchain
BetConstruct has been working hard in 2022 to incorporate blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies into their operations.
Most notably, they announced the launch of Fasttoken (FTN), which over 70 leading iGaming content developers agreed to include as a supported cryptocurrency.
The Future of Crypto in Gambling
The MGA has been testing and examining the use of cryptocurrency by licensed gaming operators in 2022. The first testing phase was supposed to finish on December 31st, however it has been extended until February 28th.
During this time, the Maltese government will continue to collect feedback about the proposed policies.
