What Does the TopHit™ Mechanic Bring to the Game?

Our 10th GEM has been launched, and we couldn’t be happier. The TopHit mechanic means any spin can lead to multiple wilds landing on the reels, while this takes a whole new dynamic in the bonus round with seriously lucrative wins up for grabs.
“Boasting a max payout of 25,000x, it’s a game that offers an easy-to-understand mechanic that brings a bold new flavour to the intergalactic creation,” McGinley added.
The TopHit™ mechanic adds an additional, vertical reel on top of the main playing grid. All the reels spin together, and when a high-paying symbol appears fully in view on the reel that sits above the grid, it transforms all the matching symbols on the reels into Wilds. If there are more matching symbols on the reels, they can get a multiplier of up to 5x, enhancing the player’s chances for some major wins.
Giving the Wins a Little Nudge
When the Golden Bet feature is active, every symbol that doesn’t appear fully on the TopHit reel that sits on top of the grid will get a little nudge to become fully visible and do its magic with the matching symbols. The nudge comes from both directions, downwards and upwards, to reveal the partially visible symbols.
This Yggdrasil title also boasts the Free Spins feature. If at least three scatter symbols land on the reels, they will unlock the Free Spins game, where players can get plenty of multiplying action and additional Free Spins.
In some jurisdictions, it is possible to buy the bonus round through the Buy Bonus feature, which costs 100x the bet. The Buy Bonus feature randomly brings eight or more Free Spins, and if a player is ready to pay 500x the bet, they get a guaranteed nudge on the first spin and at least ten Free Spins.
