Greentube, a part of Novomatic Interactive, has earned its Michigan state license, allowing the provider to increase its presence in the rapidly growing US market.
The Great Expansion
Greentube's new supplier license is the company's second in the United States, following its long-awaited debut in New Jersey last year. Greentube is now looking for partners in the Great Lakes State, where online gaming has been legal since January 2021.
Greentube's broad portfolio of games, including Diamond Cash™: Mighty Elephant, Diamond Cash™: Mighty Sevens and Diamond Cash™: Oasis Riches, as well as more titles developed particularly for US gamers, will soon be available on the market.
The Michigan Gambling Control Board recently disclosed figures showing that online casino gaming generated $1.1 billion in income in its first year of operation, while internet sports betting generated $292.2 million, illustrating Greentube's significant potential and chances in the state.
Greentube Has Its Eyes Set on the US
The United States will be a key emphasis for Greentube in the coming years, with subsequent launches planned in Pennsylvania and Connecticut.
Greentube's CFO/CGO Michael Bauer noted that obtaining their second US license is a significant achievement for the company and that expanding into Michigan is an essential step in the company's North American expansion strategy.
“The US market is one with huge potential and one that we will greatly focus on to position ourselves as a leading provider of online casino content that will appeal to local players”, reflected Bauer.
“We look forward to partnering with operators in Michigan and introducing our first-class content portfolio to a new audience.”
With Greentube’s further launches planned in Pennsylvania and Connecticut, the United States will be a major focus for Greentube over the next few years, which should bring a wealth of gambling opportunities for the US players.
