Flutter, the online gaming company, has announced the start of its Positive Impact Plan, a sustainability program intended for the greater good.
Future-oriented Plans
In safer gaming, diversity and inclusion, community activities, and environmental impact, the Plan strives to assist Flutter customers, employees, and the communities where it works.
It is divided into three sections: Play Well, Work Better, and Do More.
Play Well strives to make Flutter customers' overall gaming experiences safer, rather than intervening only when problem gambling occurs. This was revealed earlier this month, and it entails giving gamers more information and help regarding responsible gaming.
The Play Well measurements will be implemented throughout the course of 2022.
Work Better focuses on diversity initiatives, with Flutter announcing that by 2026, women would account for 40% of its senior leadership roles.
This follows the debut of Flutter's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion strategy in 2021.
As a part of Do More, Flutter will collaborate with and sponsor community activities in sports, well-being, health, and technology.
In addition, in keeping with Flutter's Science-Based Targets effort, the strategy will focus on decreasing Flutter's environmental effect by setting sustainability targets for 2022.
Our Positive Impact Plan is a comprehensive and challenging strategy that demonstrates that Flutter is setting the agenda for positive change, said Peter Jackson, Flutter CEO and added their focus is on the customers’ positive experience.
We are committed to contributing positively to our customers, colleagues and the communities in which we operate.
Jackson concluded: This plan builds on the strong foundations laid by each of our divisions, leveraging our global scale and positioning us at the forefront of meaningful change.
