Live casino giant Evolution officially acquired streaming game provider Livespins for €5 million.
The deal includes up-front cash consideration and obliges Evolution to pay an earn-out based on Livespins’ performance in 2026. The transaction will take place in the first half of the year and is subject to some losing conditions.
Innovative Gaming Efforts Attract Evolution’s Attention
According to Evolution, the Livespins acquisition is perfect for the company as they look to bring users more exciting games and innovative ways of playing.
Speaking of innovation, Livespins integrates online casino play with live streaming, allowing viewers to bet with their favourite streamer or influencer. So, if the streamers win, users win, too, making gaming an exciting and social experience.
Todd Haushalter, Evolution’s Chief Product Officer, commented:
Playing along with a streamer is a whole new way to play online casino games. This was on our roadmap, so when the opportunity with Livespins arose, things moved quickly.
