The Danish Gambling Authority has granted Aspire Global, a renowned iGaming provider, a betting license (DGA).
The platform of its subsidiary BtoBet was recently accredited according to DGA requirements. In addition to its present casino service, Aspire Global will also offer betting to Danish players through BtoBet's sportsbook.
Danish Market Dominance
Since 2012, Aspire Global has been active in the Danish casino market. Thanks to its Danish betting license, it will now add sports to its menu.
Operators in Denmark will, from now on, be able to use BtoBet's famous player-centric sports technology and features, thanks to the acquisition of BtoBet and its proprietary sportsbook in October 2020.
Aspire Global operates a profitable iGaming business in 30 regulated jurisdictions across Europe, America, and Africa, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Portugal, Spain, Denmark, Nigeria, Colombia, and Mexico. BtoBet has a strong basis in Latin America and Africa and is extending its company focusing on the United States and Europe.
This latest move comes after Aspire Global's committee advised that it accept NeoGames' purchase deal.
"The bid committee of Aspire Global unanimously recommends the shareholders of Aspire Global to accept the full cash consideration alternative of SEK 111 ($12.14) per Aspire Global share, which is part of NeoGames' public tender offer."
New Opportunities
The acquisition of BtoBet and its own sportsbook, as per Tsachi Maimon, CEO of Aspire Global, has significantly strengthened their business.
"Our offering has been considerably bolstered up by the acquisition of BtoBet and its proprietary sportsbook," reflected Maimon.
According to him, they see substantial development prospects by providing a leading comprehensive gaming solution that includes the technology platform, sportsbook, games, games aggregation, and managed services to both existing partners and new consumers worldwide.
