AskGamblers is giving England fans from across the country a chance to put their coaching prowess where their mouth is by providing funding for a supporter to become an official UEFA licensed coach. 

With fans continually believing that they can do better than the appointed manager, AskGamblers is willing to back one supporter, covering the cost for them to obtain their coaching badge to become the nation’s most qualified armchair manager.

Job Function: Have you ever wanted to delve into the world of football management? Did you loathe Gareth Southgate’s tactics? Are you disappointed by the appointment of Thomas Tuchel?

AskGamblers is providing funding for a supporter to become a UEFA licensed coach, financially backing the journey to become the country’s most qualified armchair manager. 

One fan will be eligible to receive funding to undertake both the FA Introduction to Coaching course and UEFA C licence course, as well as two mandatory courses related to first aid and safeguarding training.

To apply, you must be 18+, provide your best answer to the following five questions and meet the below T&Cs.

1. Do you think you could win an international match as a manager?
2. Which player would you call up to the England squad? 
3. Who was the worst England manager?
4. Name a recent tournament you think you could have done better than the England manager in
5. Which Premier League club appoints the worst managers?

Terms & Conditions: 

1. The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over except employees of AskGamblers and any partner the competition is associated with and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.
2. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter the competition. Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified. 
3. The competition entry will end at 23:59 on Friday, 31/01/25. Entries or new email subscribers received after this time will not be eligible for entry into the competition. The winner will be chosen at random under the supervision of an independent observer and will be contacted by our Marketing team within 30 days of the End Date at the email address provided upon entering the competition.
4. To be approved for the prize draw, you must enter your email address. Any applications which are not approved, at our discretion, will NOT be entered into the prize draw.
5. AskGamblers will fund a coaching licence up to UEFA C. The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. Prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to substitute any prize for another of equivalent value without giving notice.
6. Entrants must be able to meet the prerequisites and requirements set out by the FA and UEFA to be able to successfully apply for the listed courses, as per the outlined policy.  
7. Entrants must be registered users on the AskGamblers website and complete the entrance form using the same email address. 
8. The decision of AskGamblers regarding approval of any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
9. The selected winner will have until 23:59 on 31/05/2026 to be eligible to claim funding for the aforementioned licences prior to the expiry of available funds.
10. Names, email addresses, and/or telephone numbers will be collected and used to process entries. AskGamblers will not sell your details to any third-party companies. 
11. By entering this competition and selecting opt-in you agree to AskGamblers sending you future marketing material. 
12. By entering the competition and selecting opt-in, entrants additionally agree to their details remaining stored after the End Date, and to be used as a form of consent to send you market­ing.  
13. AskGamblers must publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation, AskGamblers may publish the name of the prize winner alongside their social media handle. If you object to any or all of your details being published, please contact suppor­t@a­skg­amb­ler­s.com. In this event, we must still provide this information to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
14. AskGamblers decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
15. The winner will be notified by email. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 72 hours of notification, the promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
