Many years ago, there were quite a number of train-themed games, from various providers, but trying to find such a new game nowadays can be pretty hard. You may like PlaynGo games, or you may not, because their games generally tend to be of the love-it-or-hate-it kind, but I personally do like them - not all but quite a number of them. This Wild Rails game plays with 30 paylines, has 4 rows, and plays with a minimum starting bet of 0.30 instead of the usual 0.10. I wouldn’t mind it so much if it was 0.20, because at 0.30 bets, I could be playing on a 243 ways-to-win game that has more chances of getting wins.
I was also disappointed to see that the win values of all the symbols were very low. Getting 5 Wilds would pay only 30x the total bet and getting 5 Scatters would pay only 25x. To make things worse, there aren’t any win multipliers at all, not in the base game, not in the free spins game, so all wins are kept to the minimal, disappointingly small I would say.
Getting 3, 4 or 5 Scatters would award 5, 7 or 10 free spins, without any multipliers, but with a Wild symbol on each spin, if that’s any good at all! However, the Scatter symbol also becomes a Wild symbol during the free spins, giving additional chances to get more wins. Collecting 4 Wilds would award 3 more free spins, but don’t count on getting many of them though. Yes, I have got several times of the extra 3 free spins, but all I can say is that they hardly produced many extra wins, much less big wins. The maximum possible win is only 5000x the line bet, or 166x the total bet, so there you go!
Needless to say, Wild Rails turned out to be a disappointing game for me, even though it gave several frequent wins of 50x, but I only managed to get one lousy win of 105x. So, if you want big money wins, then you have to play this game with big bets, but with bigger risks!
