Wild frames is a 7x7 grid slot from Playn’Go that works on the cluster pays mechanism. The minimum bet on the game is 20 cents and the maximum amount you can win on the game is 7000x your bet size. The slot like I mentioned before works on the cluster pays mechanism which means that every time 5 or more symbols of the same kind are adjacent to each other it qualifies as a winning spin and all the winning symbols are removed and replaced by other symbols. If more symbols connect after the cascade then the feature carries on until there are no more connections. Every time a wild falls on the grid the block is highlighted by a frame and if a wild falls on the same spot again the multiplier increases by 1. The maximum multiplier you can reach is 9x. The main aim of the slot is to trigger the feature of wild frames where every spot where a wild has landed turns into a wild but this happens only if you collect 80 symbols. After collecting first 20 symbols you get the feature of transform where every premium symbols converts to the same symbol. Collecting another 20 symbols which means a total of forty symbols on a single spin will trigger the feature of ‘Wildcard’ where you will get 3 to 6 wilds anywhere on the grid. On collection of 60 or more symbols you trigger the ‘Shatter’ feature where all non-premium symbols are removed and if you go ahead and collect over 80 symbols you trigger the Wild Frames feature. The slot also has a wildcard feature where every non-winning spin can trigger 4 to 6 wilds. The slot has 4 premium symbols and connecting more than 30 symbols can help you win from 500x to 75x. The card symbols pay from 25x to 15x on connection of over 30 symbols.
I love this game as it’s a wager friendly game and the best part is that you can get hits ranging from 50x to 200x in the base game as well.

The slot has a habit of stopping your progress when you are one step away from a feature and I find it annoying. Sometimes it can take over 1000 spins to trigger a bonus. The wildcard feature on a non winning spin doesn't guarantee a win so the whole point of the feature becomes pointless on certain spins.

When the game was released I didnt pay any attention to it. Later I discovered it and played it a bit. Since I am a fan of wilds this game was my favorite for a long time. There isnt any bonus. All you have to do is to fill the meter till the 80 and then all the wilds that were connected before they become wild again. The graphics are probably the best when playing this slot. I would definetely like to see a wild frames 2 to be honest.

The worst part about this game is the teases it gives you. For example you can reach till the 79 level and lose the main bonus many times. So yes sometimes it makes you hate it a lot. Except that, there isnt anything negative I could say.

Play'N Go are normally know for releasing the most grid type slots including Wild Frames. I like most of them like the popular Gemix or Viking Runecraft, but with Wild Frames it a disaster. The other grid slots pay often and decent as in a few of kind with low paying symbols giving you almost x1 your stake. With wild frames winnings on low value symbols are bet divided by 10 which is really bad.

Symbols are the normal card deck symbols followed by classic, clocks, stars, diamonds and 7' symbol. The grid is 7x7 so getting 30 7's symbols linked will award x200 your total bet. There is wild symbols on the reels very active almost 8/10 spins, but normally always create a win in one cluster. The wild card random feature awards extra wilds to enable more wins as you need to fill a meter to reach the best feature of the slots, similar like Reactoonz.

You get 4 different stages, which is the transform, where you turn high paying symbols into another high paying symbols. If you reach 40 collected symbols you activate the wild card feature that award between 2 – 6 wilds. The shatter feature at 60 collected symbols remove all low paying symbols and then finally 80 winning symbols activated the wild frames feature.

So frames are marked on the grid from winnings generated by wild substitution and then during wild frame, all those frames turn wild. Sounds exciting right, but if you look a the pay table its very poor, so the base game is really not something to look forward to, this means this slot is all about the wild frames feature.

I honestly hate the slot, yet it's so addictive. Just when I thought I am done and lost a lot of money on this slot, something happens, and I get big win. Even during free spins, the average win is around x50 – x250. I have seen the few thousand x winners, but that does not happen often enough. Just wish the pay table values for symbols was much higher.

Wild Frames is one of the newest Play'n Go games that was released a couple of months ago. It's one of the games that have had quite mixed reviews from players - either they love it or absolutely hate it. I can definitely understand the reason why.
The game itself is inspired by classical slot theme as the main symbols are Sevens, bells, diamonds and other symbols you would expect to see in a typical slot machine. Visually I really enjoy the game, the graphics are great and color scheme is eye-catching. The game has a minimum bet of 20 cents and to be honest, in my several sessions with this game, I wouldn't even dare to place higher bets as the game is extremely  volatile. 

The slot doesn't have a typical bonus round and doesn't have scatter symbols. In some ways it reminds me Play'n Go slot Honey Rush as here too you need to fill a meter to unlock a feature, in the quest of filling the meter 4 times for the grand feature- Wild frames. Whenever there's a winning combination including at least 5 symbols, you will start filling the meter. What you want to see is consecutive wins in the same spin- for 20 symbols collected you activate the first feature which will turn a random amount of symbols into other symbols. Next one is for 40 collected symbols which will add a couple of wilds to the screen. If you're lucky enough to get 60 symbols consecutively, you'll get the "Shatter" feature which removes lower paying symbols and the last one is wild Frames for 80 symbols. Then all the places where there's a frame on the screen, wilds will be added. To be honest, I do like the concept of it, but it seems quite difficult to get past the first 2 meters. I have had the wild frames feature 4 times now and once it paid 250x bet, the rest of the times less than that. Also base game payouts are quite low so if you're not careful enough, the game in a bad mood can take away your balance in a literal blink of an eye. 

Overall this is a game I like the concept for, but in reality I'm not too keen to play. On base game I've had one 50x bet win but even 30x bet wins are quite difficult to get. Also getting to the last meter is extremely difficult and depending on the symbols around, the payouts can be less than 100x bet which can be frustrating, taking into consideration how much money you can spend to even get that far. I would recommend to be careful with this game as it's definitely a money eater game.
