Wild Falls 2 is one of the newest game releases from Play'n Go. I have to say, it was one of the releases I was quite looking forward to trying out. And the reason for that is the fact that Wild Falls 2 is a sequel to the Wild Falls slot, which Play'n Go launched a few years ago. Of course nowadays we see a lot of sequel slots, but for me it's important that I also like the original slot for me to be interested in the sequel. And I like Wild Falls, it's simple yet can produce nice wins. So I was eager to try out Wild Falls 2!

The game itself is still inspired by the waterfalls theme, located somewhere in the wild. The design is quite simple yet the chest details are interesting and the game is easy to look at, which is quite important. What I really liked was the fact that Play'n Go added a few different elements to this slot, compared to the original version, yet kept the best parts of the game. In the base game, on any spin you may land a chest on one of the middle reels. If you do, the chest will stay in place and give you a rapid respin and expands the slot for one row.. The chest works as a wild symbol, which I like too. In the game, to land the bonus feature, you need to get the chest symbols on reels 2,3 and 4. So in the rapid re-spins, if you land another chest, you get another respin and so far all my bonus rounds have been triggered during the rapid respins. Also, since the chests are wild symbols, you can get a nice base game win before entering the free spins. Of course, let's not forget about the gold rush! It's not very often, but gold rush chests may land on the reels, and compared to the regular chests, they have multipliers. In the original slot, I had a few features with the gold rush chests, but in the Wild Falls 2 I haven't yet had any big wins from the gold rush feature.

Then the star of the show is the free spins round, which, same as the original slot, doesn't have a set amount of spins. The way it works is simple- you start off by having chests on all middle reels and then they move down until they leave the screen. You need to land more chests to continue the free spins and they end when there are no more chests on the reels. However, there are a few interesting things that have been added to Wild Falls 2.

Compared to the original slot, if you landed the feature with regular scatters, you would only get the regular chest wilds in the free spins, but in this case, in free spins you can also get gold chests which have multipliers. I have had a few big wins from the free spins due to the gold chest wilds. I really like it, since the gold rush feature itself feels difficult to get, and having the gold chests in free spins certainly improves the winning potential.

Overall it is definitely one of the best sequels I've seen. The design is great and while the features are simple in nature, I find them entertaining. I do wish that the gold rush free spins would be a bit more achievable as so far I haven't had them once, but even the regular free spins can give decent winnings.
