I quite enjoy Relax Gaming games and I feel like many of their slots offer unique features, so when the game came out, I was really keen on trying it out. Also, at the time I had the chance to try it at one of the casino tournaments and while I didn't win much, I was really intrigued by the game features.

As the name tells, the slot is inspired by the northern theme- Vikings, to be exact. But what I like about this game is that even though the theme is a bit dark itself, the slot has very vibrant and happy colors and it's definitely nice to look at.

As I mentioned, the game has a cluster pays mechanic, so in order to get a winning combination, you need to get at least 8 matching symbols on any of the reels. I do like the cluster mechanic in this slot, but more importantly I like the multiplier feature. On any spin you can get different multipliers with different numbers. To activate the multipliers, you need to get as many consecutive cluster wins as the number the multiplier box has. For example, you can get 2 multiplier boxes on the same spin, but each of them can have both- a different multiplier value and a different amount of cluster wins needed to activate it. In my opinion, it makes the base game much more interesting and it can definitely help to get good base game wins, as you can get high multipliers too, like 50x for example.

Aside from that, there's also a free spins bonus round, which is triggered by 3 or more bonus symbols. And I have to say that the free spins round really shows the slots volatility- it's quite all or nothing. For 3 bonus symbols you get 6 free spins. Overall I do like this game for the simple reason of it being uncomplicated yet with good winning potential. I like the fact that there are different multipliers you can activate both in base game and in free spins. Also the design is really good and pleasant to look at. That being said, it is a very volatile game and it can give lots of dead-spins and low paying bonus features.
