Tropical Holiday is a really nice slot from Play n` Go. This game gives the vibes of a summer holiday and for a moment you even think you are somewhere on the beach drinking sangria and enjoying the game. The game not only has progressive jackpot but also offers couple of features so you never feel bored while you are playing. And, most importantly there are some good wins now and then.

Tropical Holiday is a 5 reels and 25 pay lines video slot game. The last time I played this slot I had a nice session, nothing extraordinary. I played for a long time and I ended up with only 50 euros plus on my balance which was okay I suppose. It is always better to end with some cash than with nothing.

The first feature that I came across was the Treasure Dive Bonus. To activate this bonus you need at least 3 treasure bonus symbols. I am not very lucky with this bonus in general; because after my second pick I find the ‘collect’ and that means the bonus is over for me.

Open a Clam is the other bonus, this one is better in my opinion. To activate it you need 3 clam symbols. You get 15 free spins and all the wins are doubled. I even managed to retrigger the feature and I ended up with 85 euros. I thought that I will activate the free spins again, and because that happened the previous time I decided to raise my bet and continued playing. I could not activate the feature again and I started to lose my money very fast. I got the Treasure Dive Bonus couple of times after that but I never won anything higher than 5 euros. So at that point I thought that the smartest thing would be to make a withdrawal. But, all in all this is a really nice slot and I would recommend it to anyone.

Tropical Holiday is another interesting game created in Play'n Go. The graphics and animations here are not bad but I like the most the choice of the theme and colors that prevail here.

Then here you have the so-called Treasure Dive Feature. 3 dive symbols on one of the pay-lines activate this bonus. This bonus is otherwise classic pick up bonus. Then you have the free spins bonus that is called open a clam bonus. As with other Play'n Go games this one too begins as a pick up bonus. You need to click on one of the three symbols with which you activated this bonus. Below the symbols is the number of free spins. I do not know what is the max number of free spins you can get here, but I can say that I came 2 times to this bonus and both times I got by 14 free spins. It is interesting that during the free spins you can reach the Treasure Dive Bonus also. At one occasion I had decent wins in this game of about 90 x bet and that because the fact that in the 14 free spins even three times I came to Treasure Dive Bonus. Before that, once again I got free spins but the total wins out of these free spins was about 20 x bet. It all happened in about 20 minutes as much I spent on this game. I forgot to say that on the Tropical Holiday 5 wild symbols on one active pay-line pay 10,000 x bet. Also this is a progressive jackpot game.

Tropical Holiday is a game that I liked and I will definitely be returning to it often. I'll rate it with 8 out of 10 possible stars.

I have chosen to play at “Tropical Holliday” from Play'n'Go only because I found this slot in the category of progressive slots. I had played before a few Play'n'Go slots and I had a somewhat divided opinion about these slots. Some slots here were very weak and others very good. Here in Play'n'Go there is no common denominator for slots. And so is this Tropical Holiday about which I did not really know what to say. I do not even know how to do a pros and cons exact division of the facts, not because I had not played enough, but because the overall impression that I was left after playing this slot is “so-so” about in all aspects. Still I will try.

First, all progressive slots are a true playing delight because exactly when you do not expect, with one or two wins you recover all losses. But unfortunately, the true progressive slots you find only in “Slotland” and this slot is “only a shadow” of a progressive slot. Because the smallest win for “5 of a kind” is 50 cents and one of the biggest payouts (also for “5 of a kind”) is just 5 Euro, you cannot really say that this is a progressive slot. Then slot theme is well chosen, with its refreshing and inviting cocktails, the beautiful girl from the beach terrace, and the plane which brings you to the pleasures of holidays, but speaking about graphics the slot is not exactly successful. One thing is still very nice: the sound of the sea waves hitting the beach.

To tell about game statistics I am asking myself why I have not lost more (as I said this is not exactly progressive slot). Many wins are smaller than the bet/spin, and what really jumps your money occasionally are the frequent bonus games (and maybe the Free Spins) which gave me 3-4 Euros each time. Besides the normal bonus there is also a surprise bonus when you get a payout for choosing a refreshing cocktail (this is called cocktail bonus). In my game after the first 200 spins lost about 5 Euro and at the end of 400 spins the loss amounted to about 18 Euro. It is not much, but the loss is still loss.

As I said this is a “so-so” slot, about in all respects. However the opinions of players may be divided.
