Triple Dragons

Triple dragons is a 3x3 reel slot from Pragmatic play with 5 fixed paylines. The game can be played from a minimum bet of 5 cents and the maximum amount you can win on a single spin is 1000x your bet. It’s a Chinese themed slot and the symbols along with the music suit well to it. The symbol payout values mentioned right above the slot frame so you don’t need to check which symbol pays how much. The dragon is the best symbol and connecting 3 of a kind pays you 60x your bet. Peach and money bag are the next best symbol and these pay 40x and 20x your bet on connections of 3. Drums are the lowest paying premium symbols which pay 10x your bet whereas the card symbols which are the minor symbols pay from 5x to 1x your bet on connections of 3. The game has stacked symbol feature which means on some spins you will see one symbol covering one or more reels to give you bigger wins. Wild is the best paying symbol and landing 3 of a kind gives you a win of 200x your bet.
The game has a feature called ‘re-spin until you win feature’. In this feature if the wild symbols cover an entire reel, then you are awarded a re-spin. The wild that covers the reel will maintains its position on the respective reel whereas other reels spin until you make a winning connection. During the free spins feature the symbol which is Dragon during base game also turns into wild giving you a bigger chance of getting a win.
In my opinion it’s a low volatility game which suits you if you want to finish wager and most importantly if you are okay with losing some money. This game gives you a lot of dead spins and even though it has a feature that looks promising it hardly ever pays.

The re-spin feature mostly connects with low paying symbols and even if it connects with the premium symbol its only on one or two lines. If you manage to connect three symbols on the trigger of the wild re-spin feature then the connections don’t pay. The big win animation freezes the screen and takes too much time to count the win.

A slot from Pragmatic Play and this looks like a slot with a dragon Chinese theme with some retro style mixed into it. There are only 3 reels, with 3 rows and just 5 fixed pay lines of action The min bet here is one of the lowest for slots that you can find from Pragmatic which means 0.05 per spin, makes sense since there are only 5 lines.

The slot which which is lacking a traditional bonus feature has one main goal of getting a stack or more of the dragon symbols which then give you spins till you win. Obviously the best would be 3 stacked wild reels then you are walking away with a decent win. As 3 of a kind dragons pays 200x and 5 lines of that gives you 1000x. That did not happen during my session on it unfortunately but I did manage to score a 15x which wasn’t enough to recover the investments on it this time.

Graphics here you get the usual dragons which is common among Chinese culture and the drums together with card symbol suits. You have the yellow dragons sitting on each side of the reels.

The music is some of traditional Chinese music that plays during the slot play and it gets louder when you spin more of the reels as it should. When a wild dragon reel lands it is loud and the dragons turn wild and then you get the re-spins till you win, great but still would prefer a free spins feature.

I took a shot on this slot playing the 95.5% RTP version which is about 1% under the max RTP version and what can I say this time I wish I was playing on the max RTP and not this tougher RTP.

There is no such thing as a free spins bonus feature instead all you get is a spin till you win type of feature which to me is not on the same level anywhere because the potential to win big is lowered. The issue I found with another slot of similar design is once again here too, where even if you turn off the sound effects you will still get the loud interruption if a dragon wild lands on the reels. That shouldn’t happen, I have music on so let me have the music on and nothing else.

Triple Dragons from Pragmatic Play is a simple 3-reels 3-rows 5-paylines game, with only one feature to offer – a free Respin whenever a fully stacked Dragon symbol appears on any one reel. In the base game, these Dragon symbols are regular paying symbols, but during the Respins, they transform into Wild symbols instead. 3 Dragons would pay 60x the total bet in the base game, but would pay 200x during the Respins, for a maximum possible win of 1000x the total bet, which is not bad at all.

Triple Dragons is indicated as a high volatility game, so expect to get many empty spins and many very low payouts during play. Getting one reel of the stacked Dragon symbols does not guarantee a good win coming, unless you can get 2 of them on the reels, thereby getting at least several 5-of-a-kind wins, if not one more fully stacked Dragon reel. Getting all 9 of any other symbol would pay a decent win of up to 200x the total bet amount, and this shouldn’t be that difficult to get, at the right time of course.

Yep, I did get all 9 of the next highest paying symbol to win that 200x, hehehe. Get all the 9 Dragon symbols? Oh gees, no one can expect to really be that lucky and get the maximum possible win so quickly, right? But from my vast experiences on playing various slot games, I can safely say that someone somewhere would get that 1000x win sooner or later, after all, a 1000x win isn’t that big a win, unless it’s won by a high roller player, so I would expect such a win to come slightly easier for low rollers, but that’s just my presumption of course.

I’ve never been fond of 3-reels games, but I do try them out whenever I have some extra balance to spare. In this instance, on that particular day, my luck was going quite well, although not greatly, so my first ever play on Triple Dragons gave me a nice small surprise win. And with that win, I quickly ran away to try another game! Hahaha.
