Tractor Beam is a 5 reel 20 payline game from Nolimit city that I had known for a while but never really played it for some reason. However, in the past few months I have been playing Nolimit City games more and have discovered quite a few that I like, so I wanted to have a good, long session with Tractor Beam.Â
The game itself really reminds me of Tornado: Farm escape from Netent, as the game is inspired by farm animal theme and brings you to the countryside. The reason why I was intrigued to try this game was because I had seen some other players getting a full screen of wilds during the bonus round and that was the challenge I decided I want to achieve.
When it comes to base game, it is quite volatile- the minimum bets are 0.20 per spin and I haven't tried to play it with higher bets than that. Also, there are a few base game features including one where most of the low value symbols are deleted from the screen for your spin- although for the most part I've had this feature pay 10x bet, a few times it's paid as high as 40x-60x bet, which makes it a good balance boost.
However, the most anticipating part of this game is the free spins bonus round. For 3 scatters you get 7 free spins, without a multiplier, however, whenever you get a winning combination, the winning symbols will be deleted from the screen, until only wild symbol is left. I've had a few free spins bonuses where I can barely get a few symbols deleted however, once I managed to delete all symbols and had 1 free spin left with a full screen of wilds that paid 300x bet. So far my best win has been 330x bet but I know it can pay much more, if you manage to delete symbols and have more than 1 free spin with only wilds.
All in all, although at first I had my doubts about this game, I really enjoy it. Design is simple but eye-catching, base game features can pay decent wins and free spins are exciting, as you almost feel like you're on a mission- at least that's how I feel, as I always want to delete all symbols to get a full screen! One of my favorite games from Nolimit City- definitely recommend!
I cannot think of the program I used to watch that can more or less relate to this slot, but there’s a cartoon feel to the design in Tractor Beam. Highly volatile release from no other than No Limit City. This slot has a lot of potential with 2 random features as well as free spins feature.
You’ll see lower value royal symbols etched onto planks of wood. They’re joined by the higher paying animals. In order of value are the chicken, sheep, pig and cow. Land 3, 4 or 5 of the latter in combination and you’ll pocket a payout equal to 0.75, 5 or 15 times your total stake. Wild also pays x15 your total stake for 5 of a kind and you will benefit from this during the free spins feature.
Tractor beam has 2 random features:
Clone Attack feature - This can trigger at random on any spin. At least 1 but possibly 2, 3 or even 4 reels will be filled with stacks of the same higher value animal symbol. You will then hope to match it with the other reels spinning.
Beam ‘Em Up feature - Also activated at random, this feature removes all the lower value symbols from play. You’ll then complete the spin with the reels including just higher value animal symbols including wild.
Abduction Spins feature - Land 3, 4 or 5 scatters on the same spin and you’ll receive 7, 9 or 12 free spins. Land a winner and that symbol is abducted from the reels and removed from play for the rest of the feature. Each time a scatter lands, 1 extra free spin is added to your total. If all the standard symbols are abducted, you’ll be left with just wilds which can deliver some spectacular results. Every spin remaining will guaranteed x300 win if all standard symbols are removed.
I Simply love this slot, however eat can be a balance eater. Trigger the free spins feature can take forever, as in 500 spins at times, well that is my experience, however the free spins feature make it worthwhile the wait. Think of it like Vikings, hardly win little during free spins.

Alert! Alert! Alien spaceships have penetrated Earth’s atmosphere and are desperately searching for materials and food. Well, that’s what Nolimit City guys are shouting about anyway, but the truth is that aliens have already been to Earth since a long time ago, and are still around us, but that’s a different story altogether. For now, let’s just talk about what Nolimit City guys are fussing about their Tractor Beam, or rather, the alien’s tractor beam.
In this game (yeah, it’s all just a game), farm animals are at risk of being beamed up off their grazing ground and abducted, but sent back down to the ground a little later on. No, they are not mutilated, as what has happened in real life cases, but there’s really nothing that anyone can stop these poor chickens, sheep, pigs and cows from being abducted. Thankfully though, they always come back alive in good shape, hehehe.
Anyway, Nolimit City is a relatively new games provider, and all their games reflect the current market trend of having extremely low paytables. In this Tractor Beam game, for instance, the top two symbols, the Wild and the Cow symbol, pay only 15x the total bet for getting a 5-of-a-kind win. In old games, this would be 500x, at times more, so you can see how drastically slot games have evolved, right down to rock bottom level, or as I prefer to say instead, to seabed bottom level. I find this trend completely unacceptable, but to game providers, money matter is always top priority.
Playing this game can be thrilling at the right moments, despite the very low paytable. Tractor Beam provides 3 feature games to be had, namely the Clone Attack, the Beam Em Up, and the Abduction Spins. In Clone Attack, a random farm animal would be dropped down onto the reels as clones, providing extra chances of making wins. In Beam Em Up, all low non-animal symbols, excluding the Wild symbols, would be beamed up and be replaced with farm animal symbols, again providing more chances of making wins. In Abduction Spins, triggered by landing 3 Scatter symbols, 7, 9 or 12 free spins would be awarded. Unfortunately, there are no win multipliers, so all wins would be at paytable rates, but each appearing Scatter symbol would add +1 more free spin.
Well, Tractor Beam may play well, may be interesting to play, but trying to get big wins is actually a very tedious matter. After many sessions on this game, my best win was, and still is, only 144x my stake amount. Although bigger wins are indeed possible, those have not come to me as yet, but I won’t be trying hard to get them anyway.
