Looking at this game for the very first time, I was struck by the very bright colours used for the symbols and the individual symbol background, but although everything looks bright and vibrant, the quality of the graphics are of low quality, which spoils the overall presentation of the game. True, this Totem Treasure is a very old game from Microgaming, so nothing much more can be said about it. Others may be okay with it, but I find it rather unpleasing, especially the look on the face of the Red Indian woman, the Wild symbol. Argh! Whatever is she thinking in her head? She could have at least smile a bit for a more pleasant appearance.

That aside, Totem Treasure plays with only 5 paylines, which I'm not keen of at all, and starts at $1.25 minimum bet, just as for the other 5-paylines games too. Argh! Too high for my liking for any 5-paylines game. That Red Indian Lady is the Wild symbol, a very dumb symbol that doesn't do anything except to substitute for all symbols. Yep, it pays absolutely nothing for itself, it doesn't double any wins with it, and it doesn't become stacked or expanded. On top of this, there isn't any Scatter or Bonus symbol, so this game has nothing to offer, except for a straightforward 5-paylines boring game. The Eagle pays a very good 12,000x the line bet for getting 5 of them, if you can actually get them, because I couldn't even get 3 of them in my only play on this game. The Tippee pays 5000x, the Fire pays 2000x, and the others pay from 1000x to 100x, all per line bet for 5 of each kind. For a straight 5-paylines game, the paytable can be considered either good or average, depending on how you look at those values with the non-paying and non-doubling Wild symbol.

Given that the minimum bet in this game by a line is 0.25 euros that is a lot of money. 12,000 x 0.25 = 4,000. In other words, if by any chance you get 5 symbols with the eagle on one of the lines with the minimum bet you have wins of an incredible 4,000 euros.

But I do not like this game too much. The biggest reason for that is exactly the min bet of 0.25 euros here. That means if you select all the 5 lines the minimum bet is 1.25 euros per spin. That makes this game really expensive for me. So if you decide to play this game, make sure you have at least 100 euros on the balance, but even 100 euros does not guarantee that you will play here for a long. I realized that for 2 times so far when I express lost 100 Euro and more in this game. The last time when I played, on the first spin I win 15 euros on a bet of 1.25 euros, but after 15 minutes I was down around 100 euros. However Totem Treasure has a passing grade from me and I give her 6 out of 10 possible stars.

Totem Treasure is a 5 payline slot game from Microgaming with no bonus game and I will start by saying this is not the typical kind of game that I go for but boredom leads me up so many new avenues and this time I found myself playing Totem Treasure on maximum bet just to see if I have been missing out on anything and well let me start on the positives....

While the game does not include any scatters or any other bonus symbols on the reels this frees up some space for the few symbols that are in this game and so the wilds tend to appear quite frequently and on a number of occasions I managed to get three of the bald eagles up on the reels which are the highest paying symbols in this game.
