This is a fun slot game which has in it pretty much everything there is to see around Vegas. All the symbols here are a compilation of the everyday life in busy Vegas. The slot has an overall design like you are playing right there in the street in front of the casino.

It has only 20 paylines and 5 reels so it can be an ideal slot for low rolling. The graphic is simple like most other NextGen slots but I think that more attention to the details of the symbols is needed. They have an ancient look like you would find in some old worn out slot machine, so I can’t say that you will be attracted by the looks. The paytable is also very poor with the highest paying symbol awarding a win of only 400 x betline for a 5 of a kind combination.

Now what makes this game interesting are the few bonus features it has to offer. There are 3 main bonus features in this game. The first is a random bonus which can appear at any time and is called Tootin Wild feature. Here the crazy Pharaoh guys drives over the reels with a car and awards extra wilds. He usually awards 1-2 wilds so if you are lucky enough to already have a wild on the screen you can have some nice wins. In one session I had 2,5 of a kind win combinations with the highest paying symbol and had a win of almost 100 x bet. The second bonus is the Tootin Roulette bonus and it’s triggered when you get 3 roulette wheels on the last 3 reels. Here Tootin makes two spins and stops on the roulette wheel and the numbers are summed providing the multiplier for the bet win. The numbers go up to 10 so the max win you can have is 20 x bet.

The third bonus here is a dice bonus which is triggered when you get 3 Bonus Dice symbols on the first 3 reels. Here you have to choose whether a Hi or Lo number will fall and the win is multiplied by the total bet. If you are lucky enough to guess the right number you can have some really great wins here.

I always considered Tootin’ Car Man as SkillOnNet game but basically it is developed and released by NextGen but my disinformation was because of the fact that the very first success of a so-called no deposit bonus at a SkillOnNet casino was thanked to this game and otherwise I’m not a big fan of SkillOnNet casinos and their own video slot products but this game is really a great game and without a question it’s my favourite destination at the rare times when I play on that platform.

I’m in trouble if I want to precisely describe the real theme of the game (to be honest this trouble starts with the name of the game as it is also a mystery for me) because neither the supplementary pictorial solutions nor the used symbols give a straight answer and they absolutely don’t form a comprehensive, real unit but somehow the appearance of the game reflects some kind of Vegas feeling with city silhouette in the background and chips, dice, roulette wheel as symbols but the others like Cleopatra, pharaoh, driver license, smoking camel, sports cars icons what to do here, I really don’t know but at least some of them are funny.

The graphics could be higher quality and more detailed but at least it’s very colourful which is a good thing here and the structure and design of the game is also solid. So I wouldn’t say it’s the most tempting interface I’ve ever seen at a slot game but one thing is for sure this is a really interesting pictorial mixture of everything and with the little humorous mood it creates eventually this whole appearance is not as bad as I initially thought.

Needless to say, not this visual quality is that one what makes this slot for my favourite and also not the base game qualities which are poor but the bonus features are the real deal at this game and fortunately they’re triggered more frequently than expected. Unfortunately, the paying qualities of symbol combinations are very low and I think it’s enough mentioning that the best paying 5 of a kind win is worth only 500 times of line bet which is close to be ridiculous. 5 Tooting Wild symbol would do that but when it’s substituting for other symbols it can’t bring any positives to the win so it can’t multiply it in any way but at least thanks to the Tootin Wild Feature which is activated at random, a sports car can appear on the screen anytime turning any symbols on the reels Wilds giving a higher chance to win some more generous awards. The name giving pictogram works as Scatter and rewards 100 times of total bet if 5 of them landed on the table at the end of a spin and this is the only one base quality of the game that comparable other slots’ attributes and can be considered as not too bad, but all others are easily forgettable during normal game mode.

Now we’ve arrived to the section that makes the game really playable and positively surprising at times – the bonus games. Tootin Roulette Bonus starts if three Roulette Wheel symbols appear anywhere on the last three reels and then a sports car is driven around the wheel twice and crash into one of the roulette number from 2-10 and the two numbers where the car was stopped will be multiplied by the total bet. The other bonus is named Tootin Dice Bonus and clearly this is the most exciting session at this game both entertaining and profit standpoint. After getting 3 pink dice icons on the first three reels at the same time the feature is triggered where we have to predict whether the combined value of two dice will be higher or lower than the previously shown and the best part of it is that every successful pick gives us another chance for selecting Hi or Lo while our won amount (which is multiplied by the total bet) are fantastically increasing every occasions. So playing with €1 the first successful try gives back €2, then €3, €4, €10, €20 and so on until the final option is reached which is €500. Fortunately, this bonus gives us better chance to win big than other bonuses, just imagine if you get dice with 1 and 3, there’s a slim chance the next two dice wouldn’t bring higher values than that.

This bonus (and only this bonus) is the reason why I return to this game from time to time if I’m around a casino where this game is available to play and I could manage and predicted right here 3 or 4 times when at the end I could pocket more than x100 of my total bet (this helped me with the mentioned only cash out from a no-deposit bonus at SkillOnNet casino). One of these great run was finished with a very surrealistic moment as I was ready for go for x250 price and I got two 1’s and I felt this money in my pocket while naturally choose the Hi option when the next two dice also brought 1 & 1 pair and the feature was ended with €100 profit. I didn’t felt it was fair as evidently there were no right prediction for that outcome no matter whether I choose Hi or Low and I really thought it would have been more just repeating that throw but on the other hand nobody said that the previous match up can’t recur again so I should have accepted it but a little later I still could enjoy my winnings.

Overall, as I’ve said excluding this Dice bonus and looking at it in objective way this is not a good product and neither the appearance nor the game segment should force me to love this game but of course being a human the good memories and the won amounts make it more attractive for me than probably what it is actually and that’s why my final score will be a slightly higher than what it is worth. So my final verdict is, Tootin’ Car Man is just a very average video slot with not too great base qualities and poor average payouts but possesses the possibility to surprise you with bonuses and hand over some respectable awards and this is why I like it and always waiting for the bonuses.
