While testing the game for this review, it did not take many spins before we landed on our first win, which was an impressive amount. We also activated free rounds, a 3x multiplier, and a cash bonus prize.
Overview of the Titanic Slot Game
The Titanic is a five-reel, three-row slot developed by Bally. The game has 25 paylines, and wins are created by matching symbols from the left-most reels.
On your first game launch, you will find the ship’s baggage, boxes, bags, clock, gloves, car, Ruth, and Caledon as low-paying symbols. Jack, Rose, and the Titanic Logo are high-paying symbols. The Titanic Wild symbol replaces all other symbols on the reels to trigger jackpots.
Besides, bonus features on the Titanic slot are divided into three classes, the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, depending on your stake size per spin. For 1st and 2nd class spins you have all the features available but for the 3rd class spins you cannot win a jackpot prize.
The betting range here ranges between £0.35 and £100 per spin.

Titanic Slot RTP, Payout and Volatility
The Titanic slot machine is a low-volatility game. The RTP will depend on the spin class, as for 1st class spins it is 96.05% followed by 96.01% for 2nd class spins and 95.95% for third class spins.
Jack’s Drawing Mystery is the highest paying feature that can award up to 2000x your stake when you find three drawings. Landing two or more Jackroses or the Double Wilds anywhere on the reels pays between 2x and 10,000x top jackpot awards. The Mystery Jackpots feature also pays up to 400x the stake while the Wheel feature award can reach a maximum of 800x your initial wager.
Titanic Slot Graphics and Gaming Experience
The Titanic slot game brings to life the 1997 epic movie Titanic, where the iconic figures played a great part in trying to save the sinking ship. Its grid is framed with a golden border and is set against a hardwood floor backdrop. The gaming control buttons are on the left, right, and bottom of the reels, while the Mini and Maxi jackpot values are displayed at the top.
All the symbols featured complement the theme, which tries to take you straight into the movie to save Jack and Rose’s romantic relationship. The soundtrack blends well with the atmosphere, and you can even hear Celine Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On” at some point.
Titanic Slot Bonus Features
The main bonus features of this five-reel slot machine include the Wild, Jackpot Scatter, Jack’s Drawing Mystery Feature, the Wheel Feature, multipliers, and Free Spins.
Titanic Slot Free Spins
When you land a Ship Double Wild, Ship Wild, or three Scatter Ship or reels one, two, and five, the Wheel Feature is triggered. If you are awarded the Heart of the Ocean or the Make It Count feature, you will get both Free Spins and multipliers.
For the Heart of the Ocean feature, these will be 30 spins plus a 1x multiplier, 15 spins with a 2x multiplier, or 10 spins with a 3x multiplier. The Make it Count Feature awards 10 Free Spins and up to a 100x multiplier per line.
The mini and maxi jackpots are on the top of the screen and are triggered randomly at the end of the base game but if the Wheel feature is not active. There are three tiles you are presented with and you pick one to reveal the win, which will be between 50x and 400x the bet.

There can't have been many young girls who didn't love this movie when it was released back in 1997, I was just 14 at the time and I know I must have worn that video tape out beyond repair eventually! Because of this I was both excited and skeptical about a new slot machine based on the film - could it ever be good enough to live up to my expectations? Would it just be a bog standard slot with a big name license slapped on as an afterthought?
Things looked good when I loaded up the machine for the first time as the introduction screen promises a whole bunch of features related to the movie, perhaps too many really as I do often find that the more features a game has the less payout potential each one will end up having. Nevertheless I felt confident the game had been designed from the ground up to take full advantage of the Titanic theme and that felt like it had to be a good thing to me.
As it turns out quite a few of the features do actually seem to have relatively decent winning potential and there's even a "Make It Count" free spins mode with sticky wilds too, but you definitely pay for all this feature goodness in the base game as the paytable is quite poor with even the top paying symbol returning just 20x your bet for a five of a kind. That's not the worst I've ever seen though, not by a long shot!
Overall I did enjoy playing the game and think Bally did quite a good job with this license, but the graphics could definitely have been better (although I guess they represent the Titanic theme quite well) and the symbols just don't look as high quality as they should to me. I also thought the piano based renditions of the movies music sounded a little off too, which they definitely should have got right!
The creators of this game Bally are much better known for their land casino games than their on-line offerings and so it came as no surprise to me to find a typical land casino mechanic in place right at the beginning of this slot - you can choose between three classes of ticket which affects your bet size and in turn the bonus opportunities available and the games overall RTP figure. I understand why this kind of thing is necessary in the land casinos where the overheads are enormous and the casinos need players to bet big if they want any chance of covering their costs, but it feels a bit cheeky in an on-line slot. The reduction in RTP isn't very large - just 0.1% in fact between the first class and third class tickets, but I still didn't like having to play a minimum of 2.00 per spin in order to have a chance at the best features.
