How to Play Ticket to the Stars Slot

Before your solar system travels start, you need to set the bets, and here’s how you’ll do it.

  • The Total Bet arrows will let you either decrease or increase your bets.
  • Autoplay is there to spin the reels for you automatically once you get fed up by spinning the reels yourself.
  • Once you choose the bet, you can get the reels to a flying start by hitting the Spin button.

Slot Features

Wild symbol can substitute for all the symbols in the game except for the scatter and it can make winning combos on its own, if you land 3 or more of those on any active payline.

Free Spins

Bonus Rocket symbol will trigger the Free Spins feature if you land at least 3 of them anywhere on the reels. Once triggered you will get the tickets to the outer space with 15, 20 or 15 spins. Depending on number of symbols that trigger the feature.

Unlimited Multiplier Meter

Multiplier Meter increases by one after every third win, and once awards 2 additional spins. Multiplier is applied to every win during the Free Spins Bonus, and it appears only during the bonus round.

Swooping Reels

Any line win will trigger the Swooping Reels feature, and it is active during both the base game and the bonus feature. What happens is that once the winning line is formed the symbols involved will disappear from the reels so the new symbols can swoop in and make further potential winning combos. The feature ends when there is no more combos to be made.

Ticket to the Stars is a 5 reel and 25 payline slot from QuickSpin. The game came out a few years ago and ever since then it's been one of the games from QuickSpin that I enjoy playing from time to time. The reason for that is the fact that I find the base game quite good for wagering as it gives frequent wins, the bonus has decent winning potential and I also really enjoy the vibrant game design.

The game is inspired by the space theme, and as the name says, it's based in space and the main characters are different aircraft symbols, such as a pilot, stewardess, champagne bottle, luggage amongst others. The design is in bright colors and overall gives me luxurious vibes.

When it comes to the base game, it's a quite simple one. The game has 25 paylines and it pays from left to right. And once you have a winning combination, the winning symbols cascade and new ones land in their place. However, what makes the base game a bit more interesting is the fact that the wild symbols can land stacked, which is when you can get decent base game wins. But that being said, from my experience, the base game usually gives small, frequent wins that help to keep a steady balance. But I haven't had any wins over 50x bet on the base game.

But my favorite part of this game is the free spins bonus round. Once you land 3 bonus symbols, you'll get 15 free spins, but more scatters will award you with more spins. And this is when you'll really want to see as many consecutive wins as possible. Reason for that being the level up feature that's in the free spins. Every time you get 3 wins, the multiplier will increase and you'll get 2 extra spins. I like the fact that you don't necessarily need consecutive wins to level up, but consecutive wins definitely help to increase the multiplier quicker. Also, just like in the base game, you can land stacked wilds, and that combined with a good multiplier and premiums is when you can potentially expect some decent wins. That being said, my best win on this game came from free spins, when I managed to get to 5x multiplier and had some stacked wilds- the win was around 300x bet.

Overall I like this game for the simple reason of it being visually pleasing and not overly complicated. The base game can keep your balance steady but most likely won't give major wins, while the bonus round has good winning potential and the feature is simple yet exciting. I think that sometimes game providers try to over complicate games, so I like that Ticket to the Stars is simple but still has the chase element in the bonus round.

The 'Ticket To The Stars' is a video slot upon 5 Reels/243 Ways to Win, which developed by Quickspin Software. The theme relies on the Space age chronicles as envisioned by, Sir Arthur Charles Clarke, an English science-fiction writer/ futurist, one of the pioneers of this genres. A combination of the past and future visions for what is out there... Perhaps the fear of the unknown.

Personally, I am not convinced about the so-called space, but I must complete this review, Hehe!

When I first tried this slot I was surprised by the excellent gameplay on offer. Also the colourful scenery may seem too bright nevertheless it gives the feeling of engagement regarding the basic theme. Regarding the Paytable, is on the low side, as the most of Qiuckspin's titles. However, the whole concept gives me completion, due to almost perfect gameplay.

In overall, a well crafted Quickspin slot despite the low Paytable. Note that, if you search for high potential here, you may not deal with it - but if you try it, may surprise you.

Tickets to the starts are from the Quickspin provider released early last year with great winning potential. This slot is based on some fantasy air space flying, hence the title reaching for the stars. I am not sure about the max winning potential, however, I know you can win big considered you get extra free spins and sticky increased multipliers.

As usual, the graphics on this slot from Quickspin is one of the best, that orange, white shiny interface is awesome.

Symbols on the reels include a variety of different color crystals as well as a travel bag, the cabin crew, the alien robot, and the pilot himself. The paytable is not that impressive, however, because of the multiplier during free spins this would make more sense. This slot has a cascade feature, after every win new symbols fall in their place for more wins hopefully.

Triggering the free spins feature by landing 3 or more bonus symbols on any of the reels. You are awarded free spins.

During free spins, every 3rd consecutive win awards 2 free spins and increase the multiplier by 1. You can win a maximum of 28 free spins and a 9x multiplier for the big wins. If you manage to get multiple wins on the same avalanche, you in for a massive payday.

This slot is very good as the avalanche feature allows for multiple wins. Apart from the multipliers, the bonus round seems to tease quite often as well. The first 2 scatters would come in very easily, but landing the 3rd one can be tricky at times. I had a couple of x100 and 200x wins, but the biggest was around 400x. I know we do not have a lot of Quickspin fans due to low-value pay tables, but you should take a slot for a ride. I like this slot and it seems decent for wagering as well.

This game from Quickspin could very well have been inspired by Elon Musk’s SpaceX program to venture into outer space and to the stars, but of course, the first stop for now is only to Mars. God knows where the rocket spaceship in this game plans to go - to which star, in which constellation - but I for one, won’t ever be making that trip. I can’t even afford to go overseas for a nice holiday, hahaha.

Ah well, never mind about that, so let’s just talk about this game then. It’s a fairly new game from Quickspin, but honestly speaking, it doesn’t really look like one! Why? Well, I find the graphics to be rather dull and lacklustre, looking quite dated to me, so the overall impression that I got wasn’t kicking me enough – not that I want to be kicked in my bums, but you know what I mean, right? Yeah, in other words, the game’s presentation isn’t attention grabbing enough.

Playing with the standard 5-reels 3-rows 25-paylines format, with 0.25 starting bet per spin, the paytable just couldn’t offer anything good enough for discerning punters. Yes, the Wild symbols are stacked on all the reels, but getting 5 of them would only pay a very low 20x the total bet, or 500x for getting all 15 Wild or Captain symbols. Nothing strange in that as current games go, but really not interesting enough for big-win hunters. The Scatter Bonus symbols are also non-paying (argh), awarding 15, 20 or 25 free spins, but the win multipliers do increase by 1x after every third win, on top of awarding 2 extra free spins. No limits as to how high the multipliers and extra free spins can go, but know for sure that it cannot ever be limitless!

Maybe this Ticket To The Stars game was designed to be of low to medium volatility, so don’t expect to get nice huge wins from this game. I could only get up to 66x win, but even that took quite a bit in getting it. On the whole, not really a good game to play, and one that I don’t think I would want to play again either.

Quite good game
From stake £0.25 in free spins feature I've won £98

Hard to get free spins feature (at least in my case)

Oh boy, this slot has it coming now...

Already nicknamed "Ticket To Punching The Screen" by many, including yours truly, this slot is the most frustrating release by Quiskspin in a very long time.

"Ticket To The Stars", as it is really named, comes in the slipstream of great outings like "Bigbot Crew", "Ivan & The Immortal King" and to a certain extend "Eastern Emeralds", "Tiger's Glory" and "Divine Dreams", and I'm sorry to say that it just can't measure up to these recent predecessors.

On the surface, "Ticket..." looks great and has a nice atmospheric soundtrack to support the futuristic theme of the slot. However, this is a very difficult one to win on. Personally, I've now had around 6-7 sessions on "Ticket..." with the exact same result each time: Entire balance gone at a remarkable speed. No big wins incoming, neither in the base game, nor in the bonus.

As I see it, there are a couple of built-in problems with this slot: The 25 payline layout means that you'll keep missing crucial hits, especially in the bonus, where you need 3 hits to make the multiplier go up one notch. Compare this to e.g. "Bonanza" by BTG or the recent "Carnival Queen" by Thunderkick, and you'll realize the limitations of "Ticket To The Stars".

I've had disgusting bonuses on "Ticket...", some even paying 0x - hence the nickname "Ticket To Punching The Screen". This wouldn't be a problem, however, if the bonuses were somewhat frequent. But guess what? They can be painstakingly hard to trigger. And by the way: The sound, when the scatter symbols land on this slot, is hilariously gross; reminds me of someone having a case of exploding diarrhea!

All of the above considered, the terms "rip slot" or "egg timer" keep coming to mind, if I was to describe the nature of this Quickspin release. Sure, the RTP of approx. 96,5% must be in there somewhere, I just haven't found any of it yet, and I seriously doubt that I'll have the patience to keep searching for it, as there are far more rewarding slots out there to be played. Even from the same provider.

My biggest dislike is the notion of riding a downward balance spiral each time I play "Ticket...". I have never been ahead of my starting balance on this slot - and that kind of pisses me off...
