Okay, here we go with another circus-themed game from MC. No, no, I said MC, not MG, but they are the same thing. MG is Microgaming, we all know that. MC is Master of Clones, not many know that. Hahaha. Yeah, this The Twisted Circus game is yet another clone from the MC. Not that I like to play it, or any of the cloned games, but it's something that I have to do nonetheless. It plays with the ever popular 243 ways to win, but it probably means 243 ways you could lose, and maybe only 7 ways you could win. Does that make sense to you? Nope, it doesn't to me. For me personally, it's probably like 7,776 ways to lose! Out of several thousands of separate playing on Microgaming games, my wins are only a handful and can be counted, but I'm not bothered to count them. Too little!

Anyway, 'The Twisted Circus' logo is the Wild symbol in the game, paying a very low 25x the total bet for getting 5 of them. It triples all wins with it and substitutes for other symbols except the Scatter and the Bonus symbols. Getting 5 of the Scatter symbols pay the usual 100x total bet amount, and getting 3 or more of the Scatters trigger 13 free spins with all wins tripled. The Bonus Feature can be triggered during the free spins but its wins are not tripled. The Free Spins game can be retriggered too. The MC, nope, not the Master of Clones, but the Master of Ceremony, is the Bonus symbol, but it sure is a dumb one. It doesn't pay anything for itself. Getting all 3 of them triggers the Circus Match Bonus, whereby match any 3 symbols and win the corresponding prize. I have never liked this symbols matching game, but it is slightly better than the single 'Pick Me' feature, which always tend to pay me the lowest prize.

Before I forget, the other symbols in the game pay from 5x to 2.3x the total bet for getting 5 of each kind. What the argh! A very low paytable, typically associated with 243-ways games.

Remind me any other slot with such payouts if you know please.

I expected more from this bonus, I won around 10€ both times.

After that I played The Twisted Circus for some time but I couldn't get more free spins feature, only bonus which I don't liked it. I think the game could offer more. There is wilds appearing on all reels, but they do not stacked, never expand. This is first not very often thing for Microgaming 243 lines game. Also quite unusual and something that I like - multiplier for wilds here is very nice - x 3, this gives really good boost to winnings at 243 lines game, and make wilds absolutely not useless(something what no one like I believe - when wilds are useless).

There is possible to trigger two different features. First one it is freespins feature - when 3 or more scatters appear you will be awarded with 13 freegames with x 3 multiplier. So wins with wilds will have x 9 wins, not so bad I guess. Freespins feature is not very often, I think probably once in 100-15 spins I get it at average.

Second feature is bonus game; it is not interesting for me. You pick symbols, and you should match 3 same and get award. There can appear wild and substitute for couple of symbols, but payouts are quite low for most symbols, so it is hard to wait decent win there.

I had 2-3 freespins feature which paid me more than 100 x total bet (in total I have probably 10 features). I never win even x 50 total bet during bonus game. This is interesting slot, but it quickly annoys me, so I am usually play it just before freespins feature, and then leave it.

It is easily one of the best looking slot games I have ever played, in a lot of ways it looks similar to the standard Microgaming setup but I dont know if its the combination of colours or what exactly but I just loved it! As for the game itself it has two bonus features but in my time playing I only managed to get one of these. I landed three scatters after a hundred or so spins to get thirteen free spins in which I firstly managed to retrigger a further 13 free spins and at the end my winnings were multiplied by three and for a small bet I was delighted!

I never varied from a small bet my entire time playing this game and that is partly based on the time of night spent playing this and partly down to how much entertainment I was getting from the minimum bet and with the game being so easy on the eyes I was in no rush to another game.

All things considered about The Twisted Circus I am going to have to give it a rating of 7/10 and I would easily give this a higher rating if the bonus features made a few more appearances because all other aspects of this game are perfect for me.

It incredibly gave me 4 fire eaters plus a wild that tripled my total 5 combination win for a searing $50+ win for a 3 coin bet (Sorry, I can't remember how much exactly)!!!
