Needless to say, I had to play this game several times, without getting what I wanted from the few free spins games that I had gotten. Sword and the Grail is one of the newest games released by Play n Go software provider. Over the past year I have really grown to become a true fan for Play n Go games and I was quite intrigued by this release for many reasons. The game has 5 reels and 10 paylines which isn't the most exciting thing, however, I believe they have found a way how to compensate it with the wild multipliers.

The game itself is inspired by the royal theme and takes you to a palace where you have the opportunity to become a knight yourself. During the base game wilds can have 2x and higher multipliers which means that there's a good win potential during base play too. In my experience the base game can be great for keeping a steady balance and is perfect for lowrolling.

But as it usually goes, the star of the game is the free spins bonus round as it's a quest itself. 3 or more scatter symbols places anywhere on reels will give 5 free spins. The spins themselves start with 2x multiplier wilds and consist of 3 stages. In order to get to the second stage where wilds can have 5x multiplier you need to collect 5 scatter symbols. I believe that the best part is that when you enter the bonus round, the scatters that triggered the bonus will count for the first stage so it makes it slightly easier to get to the second stage. Every stage you unlock will also give you 5 extra spins. With that all being said, I have played around 1000 spins on the game and only a few times unlocked the 10x multiplier stage, not once the 100x one. I really enjoy the game as it's great to play with small balance and can give frequent bonus rounds. My personal best win was around 110x bet win but I believe it has a great win potential I'd you manage to get to the last free spins stage. As usual, graphics are great and it's one of my favorite games Play n Go has released.

Do you like 300 shields or extreme from NextGen. If that is your cup of tea, then you will definitely enjoy this release from Play N Go which came out last month. With great graphics, decent sound track and winning multiplier up to x100 is enough to keep you entertained. With that said all of the good things, it has a negative for low rollers. This slot is extremely highly volatile. I would suggest a good x150 balance depending on your spin for a decent session.

The mighty sword is scatter and when 3 or more swords landing anywhere on the reels, you will trigger the free spins feature with 5 free spins. Every Holy grail is a multiplier wild with a 2x value.
Your aim is to collect enough swords to advance through the levels and go from lowly squire to the formidable King of the Knights.

With 4 levels, here’s what you need to do to reach each level:

You can benefit from 20 spins and x100 multiplier. Too bad you cannot retrigger the feature. That is what you can do in 300 shields, plus the multiplier is up to x300. Well still in todays day and age, you get a decent slot that can provide decent wins. I have gotten to x100 multiplier but won x52 my total bet, very disappointing. I had very bad sessions and not a single x100 winner yet.

But I will not give up, one day is one day.

Playing the game is really interesting because of the WILD symbols it has the normal wild or 2x, 5x, 10x or a whopping 100x, which can result in substantial wins but I was never that lucky to connect some symbols with it, maybe someday and hopefully it will connect to something expect the coins because they are lowest paying symbols, and give me nice win. It gets even more interesting when you land 3 or more Excalibur sword scatter symbols on the reel as it triggers the feature and you get 5 free spins, yeah it sounds like a low amount of spins but the objective of the bonus is progressing through the levels, there is 4 of them, you need to keep collecting the Excalibur swords to progress to the 2 level (5x)multiplier +5 free spins, you need 6 of them that's the usually easiest one to get as when you triggered the free spins those swords on the reel get added and count towards your progression, for level 3 you need 5 more Excalibur scatters and your multiplier will increase to 10x and you will receive additional 5 free spins, for the end the highest level you can go is 4 collecting 7 Excalibur Swords will give you 5+ free spins and multiplier of 100x of course that the hardest one to get in my 15times playing free spins I couldn't get even close to it. My biggest win playing the free spins was 97x being on 3lvl and x10 multiplier really paid off, even that has crazy potential if you get lucky and get those wild symbols but of course, get those 18swords and enjoy 100xmultiplier for 5 spins I would honestly close my eyes as its spinning.

Design of the game and animations are incredible, not surprised to be honest because Play'n GO is one of the best slot providers in the world and they have a budget to make a masterpiece like this, many people say its a copy of 300 Shields because of the similar feature they have but I like this one a lot more and its for sure in top 10 releases this year if you ask me.
