Here's another new game listed under Microgaming software, but I really doubt it's by them. The play screen doesn't resemble that of any MG's games, so my guess would be it's yet another 'leased' game. My first impression on The Heat Is On isn't that good at all, I must say, simply because the graphics doesn't seem attractive enough. It looks dated, like from some years back, except for the Lady Cop and the Lady Thief icons - now these two are looking hot! Hot enough to get the heat onto your butts, for playing the game too long, or hot enough to get the heat onto your face, for all those low payouts, hahaha. So, where did the heat go for you?

For a new game playing with 45 paylines, The Heat Is On doesn't provide you with many feature games, except for the Free Spins game. Very disappointing indeed. No Bonus game, no randomly activated special features either, so this game can become boring quite easily. Both the nicely presented Lady Cop and the Lady Thief are the Wild symbols in this game, each paying a very low 20x total bet for getting 5 of each, and paying 10x the total bet if mixed. Each Wild symbol substitutes for other symbols except for the Scatter and the other Wild symbols. Hmm, for these 2 hot ladies, they certainly don't come hot enough with the cash, too bad.

The Bank is the Scatter symbol, paying a damn low 3x total bet for getting 7 of them, yes, 7, not the usual 5, with reels 2 and 3 having 2 stacked Scatter symbols each, whereas all the other reels have only 1 symbol. Getting 3, 4 or 5 Scatters on adjacent reels trigger 5, 10 or 20 free spins, but getting 2 Scatters on either reel 2 or reel 3 doubles the number of free spins, whilst getting both double Scatters multiply the free spins number by 4x, so up to a maximum of 80 free spins can be awarded at a time. Better still, more free spins can be retriggered too. Hmm, if this doesn't make you hot, I don't know what will. But please don't forget, all free spins are without any multiplier, so the heat may go off sooner than expected! Hahaha.

All the other symbols in the game are rather disappointing to look at. They don't look nice enough. But that's not all. They don't even pay good enough! The Gold Bars in the Suitcase pays 4.5x, the Helicopter pays 3.5x, the Police Car pays 2x, the Motorbike Rider pays 2x, the Dynamite also pays 2x, and the rest pay from 1.8x to 1x, all per total bet for getting 5 of each kind. The paytable? What paytable? Oops, sorry. The paytable is a blardy low one indeed!

Even if this game has 45 pay lines to win you will find only one feature here. To be honest I am dissapointed, I expected at least one bonus game or some more features for slot with 45 pay lines. Free spins feautre is the only feature here. When you get three or more scatter symbols on adjacent reels starting from the leftmost reel the feature will be triggered. 5, 10 or 20 free spins is awarded respectively. During free spins 2 scatters on reel 3 or on reel 3 multiplies the number of free spins by 2. Two scatters on reel 2 and 2 scatters on reel 3 multiplies the number of spins by 4. In total you can get 80 free spins which is not so bad at all.

While I was playing it I triggered free spins feature only once. And yes I was playing it only for a short time because I did not like the payouts during main game. During main game there are a lot of wild symbols, but when you look at pay out you will be dissapointed. At least I was.
