Looking at the pay table you get the standard card deck symbols of 9, 10, J, Q, K and A. The higher paying symbol is the horse, the lady, the ranger and most wanted symbol which pays x50 your stake for 5 of a kind. The game has a wild symbol that appears during the base game on reels 3, 4 and 5. During free spins the standard wild symbol appear on reels 3 only.

Land 3 or more Texas Ranger scatter symbols and you will trigger 10 free spins. 3 scatter pays x2 your total stake, and 5 scatters pay x100 your total stake. During free spins you get a special gold wild symbol that lands on reels 2 and 4. Should these wilds substitute in a win, it will multiply your winnings up to x24. You can retrigger the spins and get 5 additional spins. Also, only during free spins the game pay both ways which makes it much easier to win.

Nope, I haven't played it before, and I have only started playing GameArt games quite recently. Well, maybe interest do make a difference when you're playing any game, because my first play on this Texas Ranger's Reward game went quite well, if I may say so, even though I wasn't playing it for a win, but merely for testing it out.

The silver Sheriff's Badge is the Wild symbol, a non-paying symbol unfortunately, appearing on reels 3, 4 and 5 in the base game, but only on reel 3 during the free spins. It doesn't do anything else, except to substitute for other regular symbols, so this is one disappointing aspect for me. The logo, Texas Ranger, is the Scatter symbol, paying 100x total bet for getting 5 of them, which is not bad, and triggers 10 free spins with 3 or more Scatters. During the free spins, 3 or more of the silver Badges would award a retrigger of only 5 more free spins, which is also rather disappointing to me.

However, the Golden Badges are Extra Wild symbols during the free spins, appearing only on reels 2 and 4, and they multiply wins by 2x or 4x on reel 2, and 2x or 6x on reel 4. If both appear at the same time, the wins would be multiplied by 4x, 6x, 8x or 10x. Nonetheless, it seems very hard to get both Extra Wild symbols appearing in any winning combinations at the same time. On the rare occasions that both did appear, the Wild on reel 4 wasn't in any winning combination, but that's just not my lucky day I guess, hehehe.

On the whole, I quite enjoyed playing this Texas Ranger's Reward game. The Free Spins games came a few times in my first ever play, so that kept me happy for the few hours that I played the game. But as usual, I wasn't playing for a win, just for a winning screenshot, and I was on to the next game soon after. Nonetheless, I may come back later on to give it more plays, and really trying to get some nice wins for a change, hehehe.

There are other special symbols called “Wild2” and they are also represented with a Ranger badge but in gold color, and the best part is that these symbols can multiply your wins by 2x or 6x; but the sad part is that these symbols only appear on reels 2 and 4, and only do so during free spins.

Now, after my first session with this game, I have to say that my disappointment has been complete; non-winning spins streaks last forever and at some point you lose all interest in continuing to spin the reels, and I should add to this that although prices of symbols depicted with letters are acceptable, prices of higher symbols they are not.

All this means that it seems that in this slot there is no way to emerge victorious, first because during the base game our balance is always dropping more and more spin after spin, and then, the only feature with the ability to save us from the catastrophe, the free spins round, it seems to almost never happen, or at least in my case it was this way, and when I finally managed to trigger it, I could win 64x my total bet, but the truth was that amount was just one-third of my total losses at that time.

After it had been verified that one more round of free spins would not get me out of trouble, then I decided to leave this game to try another one; I sometimes think it is better to simply accept losses and not be stubborn; it's like getting blood from a stone.
