This Temple Of Tut comes from JFTW Studio, with an Ancient Egyptian theme upon 5 Reels/10 Paylines. Unfortunately, I remember in one and only session showed me how boring can be. I managed to land Free spins feature, hoping for Stacked Wilds. At the end of the round I ended up with mediocre win and bitter taste - potential. Will I try again? Definitely not. So proceed with caution.

In my opinion, Just For The Win (short JFTW) is a curious slots provider; sometimes this young Swedish company comes up with great concepts in terms of design and gameplay, and sometimes it's ...well... a bit on the mediocre side.

"Temple of Tut" is one of the JFTW-slots, that I enjoy the most. It's a kind of "poor man's Book of Dead", if I was to describe it in a jiffy. The layout seems very similar to BoD at first glance, as it has a 3x5/10 payline setup. However, there are important differences:

For instance, "Temple of Tut" pays both ways, both in the base game and in the bonus round. And unfortunately the potential is no way near BoD in terms of hitting a big win, as the top symbol (the female explorer/wild) "only" pays 50x for a full line. On the plus side, the slot has some entertaining features that help the player hitting some decent wins once in a while.

First and foremost, the random feature coined Super Reels can activate one or more of the five reels, so they may become loaded with stacked wilds and stacked premium symbols. The feature activates quite often, but there's no 100% guarantee of a hit. In the bonus round, the Super Reels initiate in every spin. You trigger the bonus with 3, 4 or 5 scatters, granting 8, 16 or a whopping 30 free spins, that can be retriggered.

So there's potential for some frequent - and sometimes decent - wins here, but I haven't exceeded 160x, although it should be possible to hit e.g. a full screen of the top symbol/wilds for that 500x.

Bottomline, "Temple of Tut" is not one of my go-to-slots, but I do like the gameplay and the frequent features.

The potential is a little on the low side here - but on the other hand, it's difficult to lose big as well...
