Sweet Rush Bonanza Review—Editor’s Impressions
We’re gearing up for a sugar rush in this Sweet Rush Bonanza slot review. It’s a familiar theme and game from the ever-reliable Pragmatic Play, but it comes with a fresh twist that’s sure to satisfy your sweet tooth. Jump right in with the Sweet Rush Bonanza slot demo or read on to discover its standout features.
Sweet Rush Bonanza Slot Overview
Sweet Rush Bonanza features a 6x5 game grid packed with colourful treats and a Pay Anywhere mechanic that triggers payouts whenever eight or more of the same symbol appear on the grid. That’s not the only sweet surprise this slot has in store, as it uses a Tumbling Reels feature that destroys winning symbols and replaces them with new ones.
Also known as Cascading Reels, the Tumbling Reels feature is always a welcome inclusion. It’s one we’ve praised in many slot reviews, including other Pragmatic Play titles, as it livens up the base game and hits even harder during the Free Spins.
Sweet Rush Bonanza RTP, Payout, and Volatility
The Sweet Rush Bonanza slot machine comes with some solid metrics: the RTP stands at 96.50%, which puts the game right in the provider's average. However, some players may find the max win low, as it's capped at just 5,000x. While this is still a good maximum payout, if you're used to bigger numbers, then you will probably try something else instead.
As is usually the case with Tumbling Reel online slots, the volatility is very high.
Sweet Rush Bonanza Mobile
Pragmatic Play knows a thing or two about creating top-tier mobile slots, and Sweet Rush Bonanza is a great example. The grid sits in the middle of the game screen without impacting playability. A big spin button sits below the reels, and the menu and betting options are easily accessible along the bottom.
Sweet Rush Bonanza Graphics and Gaming Experience
We’ve seen the sweets theme on many video slots, and while it’s not for everyone, it does have a certain charm. It’s colourful and vibrant, and it’s hard to finish a gaming session without a Haribo craving. The big grid and candy-coated backdrop build the world around the slot, while the excellent features and magical music complete it.
Sweet Rush Bonanza Bonus Features
Multiplier Spots is one of the game’s standout features. It works in combination with the Tumbling Reels to leave a multiplier after symbol explosions. That multiplier begins at x2 but grows toward a x128 limit with successive wins.
Sweet Rush Bonanza Free Spins Feature
Reveal four Scatters to enter the Sweet Rush Bonanza Free Spins round—the treasure trove of this virtual sweet factory. You’ll get 10 Free Spins, with an explosion of candy beckoning you onto a special reel set where the Tumbling Reels remain in place and the Multiplier Spots stay for the duration.
The "Buy Feature" option can take you there directly, but it comes at a hefty price of 100x the stake and isn’t available in all jurisdictions. We unlocked it playing the slot demo of Sweet Rush Bonanza and received returns of 65x, 43x, and 37x, respectively. Keep this in mind if you decide to buy—there’s no guarantee of winning anything, let alone more than you paid.

Sweet Rush Bonanza is another winner from a developer and a series that players love. It’s a saccharine slot with both style and substance, including Tumbling Reels, Multiplier Spots, and a big Free Spins feature. Sure, the maximum payout could be higher, and some players will struggle with the high volatility, but if you like big slots with bonus rounds, give it a spin.

Sweet rush bonanza is a mixture of the two most popular games from Pragmatic play- Sugar rush and sweet bonanza. The game takes two concepts together and builds a scatter pay slots which has multiplier spots. The game is placed in a 6 reel 5 row slot grid and every time you land more than 8 symbols of the same kind you get a win. This win creates a tumble feature with the spot at which the winning connection happened acquiring a golden frame. If another winning connection happens on the same spot the multiplier goes to 2 and every new connection doubles the multiplier until a highest value of 128x is reached. If there are more than one multiplier spots then the value of all of them will be added together and the final tumble win will be applied to it. You can play the game on a minimum bet of 20 cents and can win a maximum amount of 5000x your bet.
You can play this game with normal spins or activate Ante bet by paying 200% extra on every spin which gives you 10x chance of bonus. To land the bonus you need 4 scatters and the moment this happens you get 10 free spins. During these free spins every progress made on the multiplier stays through the entire feature. You can buy the regular bonus feature by paying 100x your bet and if you want an upgraded feature you can pay 500x your bet. Buying the 500x feature will give you a 2x multiplier on every spot.
The base game is excellent in my opinion and the best part is that you can win the 5000x amount from base game too. Hits ranging from 50x to 200x your bet occur quite often and my personal highest has been a 480x. Bonuses can be disappointing and on an average you will win from 40x to 150x. My personal best has been an 800x hit on a 20 cent bet. I usually play this game with super spin 1 feature where I have to pay 20x extra my bet and I get random multipliers. I have had some huge hits using this feature.
The game can be played with special bets of 20x your original bet and this feature can give dead spins too. By paying 250x your bet you will start with 32x multiplier spots everywhere on the grid and even when you pay such high amounts the spin can be a dead spin. You need 4 scatters to retrigger the bonus in free spins.
