I have already come to a point whereby whenever I see a very familiar game screen, my mind would say “oh god, yet another one!” This has become such a common thing with Pragmatic Play games that one look at them and I instantly lose my interest to play them! No other provider does millions of repetitive games regularly like Pragmatic Play does. When are they ever going to change and come up with new innovative ideas instead? Maybe their game designers are brain dead. Maybe their boss likes only reskinned games over and over again. So many maybes but still no newbies.

I don’t like repeating myself, but such 7 reels 7 rows kind of games, such as this Sugar Rush game, can never attract me. I play them only because I have to, for very specific reasons only, and never out of my own desire to play them. They are such a bore to me! A few minutes of play on it and my eyes would go drowsy and sleepy, each and every time! Anyway, is this game any better than the others of the same kind? Well, honestly speaking, it looks the same, it plays the same, and it pays the same too! Is it any good to me? Whenever any one of Pragmatic Play game becomes good to me, it may be a clear sign that the end of the world is getting closer, hahaha.

After giving Sugar Rush about 350 spins or so, the best I could get was a lousy 69x win from a free spins feature game. The base game wins before the feature game were all totally meaningless, despite having those doubling multipliers on the reels. The multipliers never got high enough, at best only 16x, so nice good wins were simply not going to happen. Unfortunately, this is so typical of what Pragmatic Play games would usually do to me - always alluding the good wins from me.

A slot from Pragmatic Play based on a sweets candy theme. The slot is a cluster grid game that Pragmatic loves to produce and in this case, it’s a 7x7 cluster grid with a minimum bet of 0.20 per spin. Low enough for most players and I enjoyed switching between 0.20 and 0.40 for my level of play when playing this slot.

The slot has a great free spins feature that gives you 10 free spins if you get 3 or more scatters giving you 10 to 30 free spins depending on how many scatters you are lucky to get and you can also get more free spins if you get some retriggers during the free spins. I always appreciate games that reward more free spins for more triggering scatters so Pragmatic gets it right with that.

During my play with this slot, it was able to deliver the free spins every 500 spins which is quite a good wait but the base game is where it shined for me the best when it gave me a whopping 371.95x bet. That is great for a base win! The feature averaged 57x which isn’t so bad at all actually.

Sometimes I would play around with different stakes, depending on how long it was since the previous feature and I would run it for 100 spins on 0.20 and then do 100 spins on 0.40 and see how it behaves trying to hit it on the higher stakes would be the plan.

The sounds and music in this slot is another positive point about this slot and Pragmatic usually does a great job in their music and sound effects creation is what I have found with this provider.

The slot RTP I played on was just 94.5% which was 2% under but I had success on this level so can’t complain actually about that which goes to show that you can still win no matter what the RTP setting the casino decides to use the slot on!

You should always play it at the higher levels whenever possible though as in the long run the higher RTP settings will give better outcomes.

The game does not RTP very high volatility you can buy 10 bonuses in a row for $120 and win $10 max on each of them. Don't waste your time on this the sustain is not there, im all for playing for a while and losing a bit at a time. But this game will give you 7x - 10x constantly from your buys. Not sustainable

Sugar Rush is a quite new game from Pragmatic Play game provider that was released a few months back. I was quite excited for this release, as it seemed to be a bit similar to Sweet Bonanza slot. Also the theme looked really nice with pastel colors and different bear symbols. It was definitely a game that was nice to look at.

Once the game launched, I decided to give it a go. The game has cluster pays mechanic where you need to match at least 5 symbols for a winning combination. in the base game, whenever you hit a winning combination twice in the same spot, those areas will have a multiplier. And if you land more wins in those areas, your win will be multiplied and the multiplier will double again. So it goes from 2x to 4x and so on. Unfortunately it seems very difficult to get consecutive wins in the same areas for the multipliers to activate. Having said that, I haven't had a single base game hit above 50x.

Then the star of the show is the free spins bonus round, which is triggered by 3 or more scatters or by buying the bonus for 100x. The bonus gives you 10 free spins and you get to play them just as the base game. However, the difference is that in the free spins, whichever positions you get consecutive wins and create multipliers on, will stay put for the rest of the free spins. So you want to get many consecutive wins across the screen to have multipliers applied to your wins. That being said, it's easier said than done. I've had a few free spins features, even had a re-trigger a few times and only once I've had a win over 200x. Most of the time the free spins can pay close to nothing and even 50x bet wins are hard to get.
