At first sight I thought ’If I have ever seen a simple layout of a slot game than it must have been a graphically rich and overdone comparing to the interface of Sport Slot from SoftSwiss. The developer didn’t have to think about it too much as the game got a white background where the symbols are sport equipment without any decorations, animations or other colours. The little trick in the appearance that the reels doesn’t work that way how I’m used to it rather the symbols get in their final position something like at table-tennis matches when the judge turn pages covering the previous one to show the actual standings of the game. Anyway, as I said the used figures just sport equipment such as basketball, pair of box gloves, football helmet, soccer ball, bowling pins and so on. Strange, but it didn’t matter how simple the screen of this game was, the more I played with it the more I loved it and at the end I can say its purity proves to be a strong attribute of the game.

The green baseball hat symbol can provide the best line win and increase the balance with 5000 coins at the end of a lucky spin while also serves the game as Wild and replaces other icons (I don’t know why SoftSwiss is afraid of assigning any win multiplying quality to the Wilds of their products). On the other hand the slot offers 2 Scatters – Golden and Silver Whistle – which have a fantastic payout ability as they can reward player with an awesome 1000 times of total bet prize but if they’re not so generous it still can activate 5-20 free spins where all wins are counted by doubled value. The only difference between the Scatters is the Golden one is x2 more powerful but unfortunately, the Scatters can’t be mixed so the triggering symbols must be the same type.

The game also offers a traditional gambling game but it’s a terrible one at least I tried it 9 times one after the other and of course I just use the colour scheme but every single time a card with other colour turned up and I’m suspicious enough to think it wasn’t just a coincidence so I have never played it since then. Interesting, because I think the game in normal mode and in free spins are well-rewarding and I got some nice results that I could satisfied with.

There are two things that I dislike here. First, the winning sound is heard is much sooner than the symbol becomes visible in their final spots which is unfortunate thing and in my opinion it doesn’t do good for the overall playing experience, and the other thing is the minimum line bet is $0.10 and because we’re speaking here about a 25-payline slot it means the minimum total bet is $2.50 if we want to use all lines, and I think it is the amount which is at borderline considering many players’ budget.

Taking out of the considerations these latter mentioned two qualities (and the gambling feature), the game is a well-done product with unique appearance formula and relatively good paying system but for me those 3 negatives are too much to rate it a very good game. If they’re not important for someone, this sports game can be a good selection to spend time with and with the potential it has Sport Slot can even be much more than a reliable gambling partner and can cause some nice surprise.
